Plus, they are in a convenient location and it's easy to get in and out of. I wanted to wash my windows and all the buckets were bone dry. Bummer! When I was done pumping I had a pop up on the screen to see the cashier for a receipt. No biggie since I wanted to get some snacks anyway. To my surprise, the main store was closed. Huh? You could get gas, but not shop...not a soul in sight. Very strange. No snacks or a receipt for me! I'm sure there is a staffing shortage or something. In the big picture...I'm just happy I could still get gas {and cheaper}! Woot!

They opened another lane however that took the bagger away from my lane. So the cashier had to not only ring up my groceries... But she also had to bag them. I stepped in and helped. Jan worked really really hard to get me out quickly however; waited five minutes for an override before she could even begin ringing up my groceries. The only manager on duty looked like he was working a western union transaction. I really think the management at this Publix needs to look at their staffing problem. Overall, I love this grocery store normally... I had a really bad experience and I am hoping this review will help remedy this problem.

Krispy Kreme: Only glazed or with icing. So I bought glazed ones at Krispy Kreme and stopped by Publix to get powdered sugar to put on them. Of course, the Publix bakery had powdered sugar-covered doughnuts. If I had simply gone to Publix first, I would have saved an hour of driving around. Next time, Publix will be my first destination.

It appears this particular store has changed their hot dogs and are using the kind I can purchase from the grocery store and make for myself at home. so nothing special.
