I love the show Undercover Boss. I'm more like a wanna-be full-time mystery shopper. I LOVE excellent customer service and am always in search of it. QT management, I found a gem of an employee at this location on the afternoon of 3/14/25. My daughter and I love stopping at QT for a Coke icee on roadtrips, which is a 1x a year event. And on our one trip of 2025, the Coke flavor wasn't working. Charles jumped into action--he swiftly got to the machine, immediately assessed the situation, and told me it needed to defrost. MOST employees would have stopped there with just OK customer service. But not Charles. My daughter and I got to the counter and he comped my daughter's drink and gave me three coupons to use on future drinks. I thanked him profusely and made sure I caught the name on his badge. There are dozens of these all-around SC and there are. I'm not familiar with QuikTrip as a whole, but more so Circle K which I'm sure is a competitor in the world of Fuel and convenience stops. On the way to the airport, concluding a trip visiting my friend we stopped at this particular QuikTrip or "QT" for his routine energy drink. I figured I also get something to perk up for the long day ahead. This may be the biggest roadstop convenience store I've ever seen. Massive fridges with so many drinks, I could hardly decide. So many drinks I don't think I've seen before or at least aren't available in my region. I settled on a V8 Fruit, energy, sparkling drink. Pretty good, I didn't think to snap a shot of the can. The best think about this place, as crowded as it gets, the cashiers are like machines, only they're real people. This is QuikTrip store #1110 and it's located just off I-85 exit 60 (SC 101 - Woodruff, Greer) in Greer, South Carolina. It's roughly halfway between Greenville and Spartanburg. Living in Atlanta the past 20 years, I've become a big fan of QT because their gas stations are typically big, thoughtfully laid out, brightly lit, relatively clean, and easy to navigate with plenty of pumps, parking spaces, and competitive fuel prices. Their convenience stores are also clean in addition to being well-stocked with hot-and-ready and made-to-order food and drink. The stores usually have plenty of adequately-trained and uniformed staff who are polite. In short, QTs beat your run-of-the-mill gas stations and convenience stores, many of which can be shoddy. Consider yourself lucky if you have them in your area. I remember driving through South Carolina by myself or with my family for decades before there was a single QT in the state. Now, there are many. Hallelujah. This QT on Highway 101 is no exception. It's got 20 pumps for cars plus a separate fueling and parking area and store for semi-tractor-trailer trucks (not all QTs are truck stops like this one). I stopped by this QT on my way back to Atlanta from North Carolina to fill up and use the restroom. It was easy for me to find an open pump; it was clean, in good condition, and worked well; and the restroom was clean enough. One thing auto travelers love about South Carolina are the state's cheap gas prices. They're perhaps the best in the country. The guest in the store are nice, the staff can pick something up from them. I am on crutches, cast on foot. Hobbling around and a bunch of employees around. I don't expect anyone to HAVE to help me but at least dont let me struggle getting out the door. There were 3 employees right next to me, arms reach to the door. They looked at me struggling, looked back at eachother and started talking again. read more

Customer Service is good here. The lines move quickly. You can now order food 24/7. Some associates here really stand out as far as customer service. Almost to the point of going beyond what's asked of them. I seen one associate let a customer know he could get a free 2 liter with his pizza order after seeing him carrying around four small sodas. She put his drinks back for him and brought him the 2 liter. She also helped him on two different computers place his order when it seemed as though there was an issue. I don't know her name but she was working tonight (12/5/18) if any managers or store owners are reading this. Also, the associate Jesse goes above and beyond every time I'm in there. This guy has hawk eyes and basically seems as though he can run and manage the store from behind the register. This guy is on point. His customer service skills are excellent. His skills with the staff show he is a quick thinker, observant, great decision maker, direct and friendly. That's not an easy combination to pull off but he does. I base this review off of many trips to this QT. ((I've visited more than the "4 check-ins".. I don't always check in)) Also, truckers there is over night parking and a connected side store for truck supplies. I would advise getting here early for a parking spot or else you'll have to create a safe spot. Also, Truckers there are about ten fuel lanes too and two entrances. Hot food 24/7. QuikTrip - Gas Stations Near Me - Greer, South Carolina

This is the Quik Trip across I-85 from the BMW facility. It's a good stopping point during trips between Cornelius NC where we live and Marietta GA where my son and his family live with two young grandsons. Get out and stretch our legs, use the restrooms, grab some more coffee which is always fresh or other snacks. Gas prices are considerable less than NC because of State Tax so a good time to top off the tank and save a couple of bucks. Place is always well maintained and very clean. Most of us have been places with the rolling cooking things which by 6pm in the afternoon, have only a couple of over cooked hot dogs and sausages and no buns to go with them. Not here. They had an employee restocking and rotating stock and to make sure that there were adequate buns and other condiments. Did not want a hot dog at that moment but it was tempting which is not normally the case. Good stopping off point for travelers on I-85 between Greenville and Spartanburg SC just up from the Airport. read more

Cleanliness and consistency is close to my heart. This is why I feel compelled to share my review of this location in particular. I originally was impressed that this corporation did "everything" right. New buildings from the ground up, polished, shiny, well staffed and clean. Now it seems as All of their stores have cut their staff and they have also had a dramatic cut in Any form of consistency, cleanliness and employee attitudes. Not much more than what Spinx use to be before the arrival of the QT brand. Now it seems as if their previously mentioned competitor has stepped up their game and QT has decided not to excel but to settle. Did I mention that their incredible soda fountain drinks arent so incredible any more as the mix is off. read more

Off 85 on the 101. Place is huge, with plenty of gas pumps, huge shop to buy food, alcohol, toys, whatever you need for a trip. Staff were friendly and fast, almost no wait. Be careful and attentive while driving in or out, it's really busy with lots of cross traffic. read more

Excellent pit stop if you're traveling on I-85 in SC. Clean, well-stocked and offering everything you expect in a QT. Seems to be popular for the local construction crews, generally a good sign for convenience stores. Restrooms also clean and have paper towels. Bonus -- easy off/on highway access. read more

When I am heading up to Spartanburg from my house, this is my morning stop when gas and/or coffee are desired. The coffee isn't great (I prefer mine strong and black, but even the dark roast lacks that bitterness and acidity I crave), they all seem watered down. They have great prices on soda fountain drinks with the largest selection of both sodas and "fresh" teas I have ever seen. I think you can get a 55gallon drum of Mountain Dew for like $2 or something. On my way home, if I want to bring a little sweet sumpin sumpin home, I grab a half priced pastry after 3pm. Sometimes they are sold out, sometimes not. Either way, it's worth the gamble. These tooth cavities aren't going to destroy my teeth without trying! Great stop right off 85. read more

The fountain drinks are amazing. Most places don't calibrate their soda or don't really care about it. Not PDQ. The only time I have had a problem, the attendant made up for the problem and I got my soda anyway. I have also had from their grill. The food has always been good, and great prices. Plus they actually staff the counter and staff always seems chipper and never makes you feel like you are a bother. read more
