This was my second ever Buc-ee's that I had been to. The first one in Katy was packed and I was…read morevery overstimulated. We arrived to this one around 6:30pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy as I had anticipated. It was nice to be able to walk around without so many people in the store. We were able to get a front row parking spot (a good omen!). It had basically the same things as the Buc-ee's in Katy that we visited a few days before. This time we did get food and took it back to eat. We got the brisket Mac n cheese, the hot club melt, a big buckin' brisket sandwich, coconut cream pie, banana pudding, cookie dough bites, a peach cobbler, and sodas from the fountain. Everything was delicious! The Club Melt was spicy and so was the brisket sandwich. We were not expecting that. We got souvenirs as well. All of the employees were super friendly. I'm sad I won't be able to go to a Buc-ee's on the regular now.

This is one of the reasons why I wanted to go to Texas. I heard all about their snacks and brisket…read moresandwiches. I'm happy to report that it didn't disappoint and what everyone says about them is true. I wish they would open a location in Hawaii. Their brisket sandwiches are so good. It was so good that we went back three times to get it. It contained just enough fattiness where the sandwich was moist and not drenched in oil. It paired perfectly with the bbq sauce. If nothing else, just come for the brisket sandwiches. I picked up a lot of other things. I got myself Buc-ee's Nug-ees, cherry limeade Icee, beef jerky, glazed cashews, fudge, bag and shirts. They're also known for the nicest and cleanest bathrooms, which is also true.

Review for Costco Pizza- If you're used to paying anywhere…read morefrom $8 to $20 for a pizza with hit-or-miss quality, the value at Costco's food court is hard to beat. For $10, you're getting what's essentially an extra-large pizza--whether you go with pepperoni or cheese--and the flavor holds its own against many traditional chains. It's simple, consistent, and surprisingly satisfying for the price point. A few insider tips: You can call ahead and order your pizza in advance. You can also order while shopping and pick it up on your way out. If you're just looking for a quick bite, pizza by the slice with a drink is one of the best cheap meal deals around. Let's be honest--walking in the door with a full extra-large pizza for $10 makes you the hero of the night. It's perfect for family dinners, casual get-togethers, or even an adults-only hangout where you want something easy and crowd-pleasing. The food court in general is an underrated part of Costco--it consistently delivers value that's tough to match. Drawback: Be prepared to wait, especially on busy nights. We had a 30 minutes on a Saturday evening, so plan ahead. Pro move: Grab a couple of pizzas, a case of the kids' favorite soda, and if you're feeling bold, throw in some ice cream. Easy win.

After dumping Sam's, I needed another "giant box" store. It's a convenient time saver for me to…read moregrab large quantities of dry goods at decent prices. I also like that Costco offers shipping to my house with no added fees (dry goods; not fresh groceries). The store is huge and it is difficult to find items, but a plus is that they carry a lot of organic and all natural products, including a lot of organic produce. I wish they had more organic frozen foods. Customer service has been friendly when I've interacted with employees. The store has always been neat and clean. The parking lot is huge. They also have a gas station at this location, but it's been super busy the few times I've been here. There is a hot food area with the regular expected "fast food, bad for the body" items. This is a solid Costco. I didn't add more stars b/c the store is difficult to navigate and I'd like to see more organic and healthier options in the refrigerator and frozen cases.
