Somehow this is one of the smaller shell stations locally yet it's ALWAYS busy! 8 times out of 10 I've driven by and all the pumps are occupied! It's also right off a major highway exit, including the CCRI Lincoln Campus, Davies, and that God Awful MacColl YMCA. It's kind of convenient but the price for gas is on the higher side with other stations nearby usually being a few cents cheaper. I honestly do not understand why this station is always so busy! It's like they never have downtime!

Often, these are the cream of the crop when it comes to gas station convenience stores - usually worthy of 4 or 5-star ratings. However, the combination of Shell and Seasons Corner Markets has reached an unprecedented low in this location. This store, which has a Dunkin' Donuts, is on the smaller side, but otherwise fairly well-appointed and stocked. So why am I giving them 1 star, you ask? Well, on my first visit a few weeks ago, when I went to cash out, the young woman at the cash register was in the middle of eating a snack. While that's not a huge deal in itself, I couldn't believe it when she didn't even bother to put the food down, but rather, continued eating, unfazed, while she rang me out. Her untucked uniform shirt was wrinkled to boot. I would have flipped out if I was the manager of this place and witnessed her slovenly appearance and behavior. I also dislike that the gas pumps are awkwardly located in the parking lot; there isn't much room to drive around the pumps. My work truck was once blocked from leaving because a pickup truck getting gas parked a bit too far from the pump, and I didn't have room to drive around him, so I had to wait for him to finish getting gas. Today was my second visit and I was also equally unimpressed. I went to use the bathroom, and there was a lot of urine all over the floor in front of the urinal. Then, I bought a can of Coca-Cola, and found it was far from cold; rather, it was somewhere between lukewarm and barely cool. Normally, I'd just go somewhere else, but there really aren't many options in this section of Lincoln, so I guess I'm stuck with them if I happen to need a drink or snack in this area.

What really makes them stand out are their weekly specials--especially the Tuesday meatball subs. These subs are made fresh right in front of you, loaded with flavor, and the price is unbeatable. Honestly, they're some of the best I've ever had. Between the affordability, quality, and friendly service, this place has become a go-to spot. I often ride my motorcycle to Connecticut, since Rhode Island is so small and the condition of the roads pales in comparison to Connecticut. I've stopped here for drinks and gas either on my way out, or on my way home. They have Mobil gasoline, plus separate diesel and kerosene pumps on the left side of the store. There a decent selection of drinks and snacks, and the store seems pretty clean, well-stocked and well-organized. While there is a customer bathroom, it is actually a porta-potti outdoors, behind the building, so it's like roughing it for people who might be more sensitive to those sort of things (although it beats going in the woods). Be careful pulling out (especially if you're on a motorcycle), since it's at the top of a hill, cars travel pretty fast and you can only see so far out before a car pops over the crest of the hill. One time a few years ago - I will never forget - I was coming back from a motorcycle ride in Connecticut, where I had gotten caught in heavy rain. It was either dusk or dark, but anyway, I went inside to prepay for my gas. There was a customer ahead of me, but the cashier was extremely chatty with this customer, so much so that a puddle of water formed on the floor beneath me while I waited.

Prices are pretty fair, but I do feel like they're always a couple of cents higher than the nearest Mobil or Shell stations. They have unleaded, mid-grade, and premium; no diesel. They also have an air station. There's also a pretty standard gas station convenience store. Nothing too special about it, but they have a decently wide selection of prepared foods available, which is pretty cool (like, Wawa is about the only one that regularly would have a wider selection). This is also a 24-hour gas station and convenience store, so if you're passing through here at 3 am, not only can you get your gas, you can also get an Italian sub or a slice of pizza (sure, it's not amazing, but when you're hungry at 3 am, it'll definitely hit the spot).
