I don't come here much, but I've been a few times & have not gone inside much, but I needed some gas on the way to my gym & this was the first one. I was trying to pay with whatever was left on my biolife plasma card, cuz why not? last i checked, there was like $9.15 on there, so I figured I'd use the last of it since my husband & I both get paid later this week. the screen prompted me to go inside for some reason, which was annoying since it was 12:30 in the afternoon & there was a long line (mostly consisting of construction workers & high school kids on lunch breaks) so I waited about 5 minutes or so then got up to the register & was helped by a Polynesian (I think?) woman. I told her that I was trying to get gas & pay for it with my plasma card, I told her I wanted to pay $9. I swiped my card & a receipt printed out, but instead of saying "thanks, you're all set, have a nice day" she loudly said "that didn't work, insufficient funds" loudly for everyone behind me to hear, then handed me the receipt that said $0, & said, "that sucks, next!" like really? i know gas station employees aren't exactly customer service moguls, but you couldn't have lowered your voice when you told me my card was declined? or said sorry? I went back to my car & checked my biolife app, it said i had like $7.62 on there, so I was just a little off. I went back inside & of course this woman was no where to be seen, so the other employee working there charged my card for the $7.50 & told me I was set, but I was already embarrassed since everyone in that store had already seen me get my card declined like a minute earlier. to me- (who's worked an ass ton of customer service jobs) it's just tacky to treat customers like that, she could've been much more pleasant. I don't go to maverick all that often anyways, but i am definitely not coming back to this location, or any other for that matter. hart's employees know how to treat customers right!

It was a little tricky getting here because I was coming off of southbound I-15, made the turn on…read more500 E and by the time I got swung around and pointed the right direction, I passed the easiest entrance on the south side. No worries--you can just go up to 620 north and turn right, and then you'll just weave through the parking lot and find your way in. The lights were agleam after dark and you'll find this an oasis if you're traveling along the freeway (exit 276, if you're keeping track) and you need to fill up the gas tank. I rode in with the gas light screaming at me from the dashboard, but from running around the town. It's a clean spot, and the gas didn't seem too out of whack with normal gas prices in the area. I was in a crazy hurry, and it pumped quickly and I was back out in not time--it really did only take me less than five minutes to get in and out. I could have spent a long time in the convenience store portion, so I didn't go in at all. Chop, chop!

There are other cash registers, but if it's that one skinny guy working, good luck making him get off his bum to do anything. Nothing is ever refilled in the coffee machines either.
