The guy who started cussing at me and saying I was stealing

This guy said I was stealing and also started cussing at me because I confronted him for selling expired food. And then he got all mad because I was telling him the truth. Horrible customer service

Avoid this location!!!! 7-Eleven at 3500 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90005

Location: 7-Eleven at 3500 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90005 I've been to many 7-Elevens since childhood, but this was by far my worst experience ever. I need to warn others about the unacceptable treatment I received here. I came in wanting to buy hot food items (pizza and hot dogs) from behind the heated glass cabinet/grill. Not being familiar with this location, I wasn't sure if these were self-serve or if staff would help, so I asked. What happened next was shocking: * The cashier kept hovering around me, repeatedly asking if I was buying something while I was just browsing. When I said I was still deciding, he continued watching me like I was going to steal. * When I approached an employee in a black jacket with the same question about the hot food, instead of explaining, he repeatedly told me to LEAVE and go to another 7-Eleven on "Alexander" (which I couldn't even find on maps). No explanation - he just wanted me gone. * The only decent person was the security guard, James, who actually DEFENDED me against the staff. He explained everything in the store is self-service and I could open the heated cabinets myself. He assured me I had done nothing wrong and was welcome there - completely contradicting the employees. * Even while checking out with my pizza, the cashier remained cold and dismissive. Their earlier "grab and go" instruction was confusing since I wasn't sure if it applied to hot food items - which is exactly why I was asking! I'm East Asian/Korean, and I couldn't help wondering if that might have played a role in how differently I was treated, especially since I noticed other customers receiving normal service. I can't say for certain, but something felt very off about the entire interaction. The hostility I experienced made my adrenaline pump and skin crawl. I left feeling humiliated for absolutely no reason like I was being ethnically profiled. I strongly suggest avoiding this location. There are plenty of other convenience stores that will treat ALL customers with basic respect. This wasn't a simple misunderstanding - it was inexcusable mistreatment that has no place in customer service.

Neat and clean 7-Eleven location! I've never had any issues with them not having in stock what I needed. Staff is friendly enough and I've bought (losing) lotto tickets a couple of times here. Shady characters abound, but welcome to KTown. Comes with the territory. Parking is rough in this area but if you live nearby or are going somewhere close, it works!

Service was good but the drink I got was expired. Only realized it when I saw the expiration month.

    Rude customer service!!!

They charged $5 fee for money order. Don't ever come here. You will be out of business soon.

Some of the employees here seem REALLY fed up with customers at this store. That's including the…read morecustomers that they & their store are DEPENDENT on for the revenue that ultimately pays their individual INCOME. I'm sure they have been through a lot at this location, which I definitely take into consideration, but I don't think that means that low quality customer treatment is now acceptable (across multiple visits). I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

This is a difficult CVS to review as there is a lot of shenanigans from the unhoused just outside…read morethe door. But it's a good CVS, the employees are nice and helpful. This one is good if you're staying in the area or need something in a pinch.
