Prices on everything are more than any other gas station I've ever been to, and gas stations are not known for reasonable prices. After having gone to this business for 20 years due to convenience for desperately needed milk, I will never return. Yesterday I went by to get ice cream only to find their debit systems down, meaning cash and credit only. I browsed the selection, finding I didn't have enough cash I left. Today I returned with cash in case the issue wasn't resolved. I couldn't close the freezer lid so I put the ice cream in my shopping bag for a moment closed it, and took it out again. The owner saw this and said something to me which I didn't hear, so I simply held up the ice cream and said I had two. I then went and waited in line. When I went to pay she asked if I had anything else, I said no. She asked again, and I gave the same answer. I got out my wallet only for her to come out from behind the counter and demand to look in my bag. I held up my reusable bag while telling her that I was incredibly offended as a long-time customer that she would even dare accuse me of theft. She said that other people had done it, maybe not me. (So, apparently, because thieves exist, I must be one?) All she found was my artisan hamburger buns from Cobs. I reminded her that she had known me for two decades and she replied that I had come in the previous day and left BEFORE she could CHECK ME! I reminded her that her debit system was down, that that was my usual form of payment, and I didn't have enough cash. She just kept repeating this as if entering a business and not buying something automatically means I must have helped myself. She told me that next time I had to leave my bag by the door. I asked if she could guarantee that my property wouldn't be stolen because she would be watching it. She said no, and I said I'm not doing that then. It's not as if there are baskets available. She said I would have to and I replied no I wouldn't because I wouldn't be coming back. She said, "fine, don't come back." She never apologized for the false accusation of theft, she just kept justifying her actions in front of a line of other customers. It's humiliating. A couple of years ago my mother bought some butter from this business that was about to expire. It was heavily discounted, so it was a great deal. A clerk rang up her purchase only for this same owner to follow her outside, demanding the full price of the item because it was improperly marked!

This alone is unacceptable but when I went in to inform them their pumps were malfunctioning they completely shrugged it off claiming it was fine and it would "just evaporate" which aside from the complete lack of concern for wasting my money, getting diesel all over my truck they don't seem to care at all they're dumping who knows how much gas and diesel all over the ground with enough regularity that they simply shrug it off and how this impacts the environment via run off. Definitely won't be back, they need auto shut off like every other proper gas station I've ever been to.

Whistler is not that small, but the only petrol pumping place around is this joint, and they could have a run down shack, and there would still be line ups, but this Husky is pretty nice. A big store inside with a bunch of goodies, and enough pumps to cater to the masses before going back out on the highway, this is your stop regardless if your going North or South from this destination. The area inside and outside is clean, including the washroom, and even though they probably have all capability to 'jack' you at the pump, they do not, compared to the price of the next town over (Squamish) it is fairly even.
