It is small and cramped and has definitely seen better days. With that being said, the gas prices are competitive and the inside has the usual convenience store items. While there are a lot of better gas stations, this one did serve its purpose. I was able to get in and fill up and get back on my way in a relatively quick amount of time. With that being said, it was early in the morning and I can see how traffic can back up here later.

As with most pawn shops, most of the stuff seemed to have been stolen or salvaged. The gas is advertised at the cash-only price. If you're using a modern payment method, add $0.10 a gallon. To add to the scum aesthetic, there was a man wandering around his black Suburban asking for "gas" money. He would also ask for gas. I've experienced this scam before. Apparently there is a gas-for-heroin exchange somewhere behind this Citgo because it's where the man went (drove) immediately after getting a couple of bucks from a girl in a Popeyes uniform.

Gas prices always seem to be a few cents higher than other places and the clientele as well as the staff leave much to be desired. They do have a multitude of beverages in the cooler and both hot and cold convenience foods. There is an array of both lotto and tobacco products. I just would not go out of my way to go here.

I took a sandwich to the microwave before paying for it, intending to pay immediately afterward. Employee Troy told me I needed to pay first. Instead of professionally explaining the policy, he became hostile and disrespectful. During the interaction, he called me the "B-word," made comments about his mother beating me up, and made threatening remarks toward me. There is no circumstance where a customer should be verbally abused or threatened by an employee. A simple policy explanation would have been sufficient. Instead, the situation escalated into behavior that was intimidating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I left feeling disrespected and concerned for my safety. I hope management reviews the security footage and takes appropriate action to ensure no other customer experiences this type of treatment.
