I LOVE the look of this place.I work nearby so I've been a couple times now. The girls are always welcoming and friendly. They have their regulars and I've heard them say "The usual?" Which I love because it shows they pay attention to their customers. I've tried a couple things already. Their vanilla matcha is my favorite. Their coffee is good but it could be stronger. I got the cafe con leche and as a Hispanic, our "cafe" is STRONG so I was expecting a good punch. It was too light for my liking (too much milk). I will be more detailed when ordering going forward. It was a good drink, just felt it could've been just a bit stronger. That being said I have tried the honey nut cheerio latte and that one is amazing! I like how they heat up the pastries before handing them to you. They always taste fresh. Other than that the place is always very clean. Very bright inside quiet. Good place to work, study or just relax. They do have outdoor seating available and small area for pets in the back. read more

I came for the coffee, but am in LOVE with their cheesy egg pastry. I've never had anything quite like this. It's savory and filling and delicious with egg, cheese and herbs. I also got an iced dirty chai latte which was nicely balanced. The service was friendly and helped guide me to these tasty selections. I had a Yelp event across the street and I decided to stop at cups and pops off the corner of Edgewater Drive. This is a dog friendly coffee shop so you can bring your dogs inside and outside around the coffee shop. They carry I saw lineage coffee they have a smaller bag and they have a bigger bag. My coffee today was around $5.05. They make their own simple syrup. They have a vanilla, a blueberry, a lavender, and I believe a Matcha. Service was quick and easy there are only three people working here right now and I did miss the rush so apparently at 10 AM. They have a little bit of a rush. Ambience is super cute. This is obviously a location. A lot of families come too because the tables are taken up by very large groups of families. 10/10 Excellent coffee definitely coming back asap! read more

This was my first time at Cups & Pups! Although I don't have a pup, I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast. There is plenty of parking behind the building, unless you can find a spot on the street. Lets talk about how CUTE the interior and seating area is at this little coffee shop. I remember when they were just a little mobile coffee trailer so its SO NICE to see them coming up and getting a permanent place to call home. During the pandemic they were delivering coffee to my doorstep and I have loved them for that ever since. I will be a loyal puppy for them for keeping me caffeinated in trying times. The service in shop is great and helpful as always. I ALWAYS get the lavender latte as it is the most perfect lavender coffee I have found anywhere. No one does it like they do. I also tried the honey nut cheerio latte and was laughing as I drank it because it tastes EXACTLY like a hunny nut cherrio. I am constantly amazed at how they make perfect flavors constantly. Cups & Pups is an adorable coffee shop in the College Park neighborhood! They recently relocated to this area and the new shop is beautifully designed with a modern, cozy interior. Their shaded outdoor patio is also dog-friendly. They brew Lineage coffee and have lots of fun, seasonal lattes and drinks on the menu. I got the Honey Nut Cheerio iced latte which is one of their signature faves, and my husband got the Oatmeal Cream Pie cold brew which is topped with a marshmallow cold foam and brown sugar crumble. Both drinks were yummy, but I did take a sip of my hub's cold brew and his was the winner! They also have a selection of bagels and pastries available for purchase. Overall, a great location for this neighborhood gem now serving the College Park community. There are other little shops & restaurants in the walkable area, so it's totally worth a visit! read more

Awesome little coffee gem in College Park! Let me start by saying the staff is wonderful. They took my name the first time I went there for the order and even though I've only been back a few times over the course of about two months they still knew my name. They actually know most peoples name and if they don't it's because you're new. You can get a regular cup of joe or one of the 7-8 unique coffees they make. The brown sugar pop tart is my fave but it causes a sugar comma lol. As for the ambiance, it does echo some when busy but the calming light beige color and arches down the hallway and in the built in booths are a nice touch. Overall it's a much better option than that bucks place or the donut place unless you want donuts lol. read more

It was recommended to try the cinnamon rolls here. So far in the city, this would be among my list for the top 3 best ones. I consider this spot a hidden gem along a busy street you may miss when driving by. The aesthetic is super cute and matches the name. The wall is shaped like the head of a dog. I enjoyed my iced matcha, it was done right and not overly matcha based and balanced well with vanilla syrup and lavender. So relaxing to sit outside minus the loud noise from the palm trees being cut across the street, a place to meet with friends, do work, or read a book. Honestly that is super pricey for a latte and muffin. Moreover I expected to get my latte in a mug instead of a paper cup since I was going to stay there. Then I noticed they gave everyone paper cups. I see more and more cafes doing this and it is disappointing. Most likely it's because they don't want to wash dishes and rather just throw it away. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and there was a minor wait while the barista served the person in front of us. While you're waiting you can sign up for texts and a coupon for a future visit. I ordered the honey nut cheerio latte (HNCL) since it seems to be a crowd pleaser and I wasn't interested in the seasonal cold foam- Earl Grey. The HNCL is a crowd pleaser so much so they sell a bottle you can take home. Unfortunately the flavor wasn't for me. I understand the limited menu, but it doesn't leave a ton of options which is the reason I'm giving a 4 star review. Overall a cute spot, but I might opt to try someplace new before prioritizing a visit back. read more

So much space, friendly staff, and the offerings we know and love to sip on! There is so much more space to sit and enjoy your cuppa, including a pup friendly outdoor seating area in front of the cafe. Been going this this spot back when it was a literal cart on the side of the road. The coffee was good then and it's still good now. To have a full shop with amenities, food, WiFi and tables may seem like nothing special in the coffee world, but seeing a coffee business you've loved go from pop-up To beautiful space in your neighborhood is pretty magical. Really love their coffee and sandwiches. I order the chiptole chicken one and it is incredible! For coffee I order the Honey Nut Cheerio iced coffee with almond milk. The team is super friendly. Their website is outdated, last change was from 2018. They don't list their menu or have an active phone number on the site either. If you're calling to book their services for an event you'll have to leave a voicemail is what I could find. No lead firm on the site either. The main draw back is the set up inside. There isn't much room so if anyone is sitting and waiting for their coffee, you have to stand. They don't have a great spot to sit and hang out if you wanted to work from their shop like you might for a Starbucks. The plants inside are dying which is sad to see. Would be worth picking up a replacement fiddle fig for the corner for $50 at Home Depot or a nursery. Overall everything looks to be getting worse with time. Disappointing since this could have been another local success story like Kelly's Ice Cream. read more
