Pancakes were delicious. They use real maple syrup. Eggs were cooked perfectly. My only complaint is my sausage could've been a little warmer. I like my food hot. Hone away from home…read more Toasty Tea has one of the best atmospheres around if you're looking for a genuinely welcoming community space. The evolving steampunk theme gives it a really unique vibe, it's always so homey, and there's constantly something interesting going on. I basically live there at this point. The owners are truly wonderful people who very recently took over and renovated so it's a space that's starting to come into its own. The kava/kratom tender is always lovely and everyone here with good energy feels welcome. It's the kind of place where all different types of people can come hang out comfortably. They've also got two TVs, tons of games, a Nintendo Switch and some other console options, so there's always something to do whether you're meeting friends or just relaxing for a while. Friday nights are currently Game Nights/Art Nights and Saturday nights are Fire Flow. Highly recommend if you want a chill, community-oriented spot with great energy. This is my go-to hangout and you'll definitely catch me up there multiple times a week, for hours at a time.

The apple fritters were huge, definitely bigger than Publix, and I liked that they weren't loaded down with thick icing. The cake donuts were a standout too. Really moist with a soft inside and just a slight crisp on the outside (The blueberry one was 5). The donut holes were also really good. Light and fluffy, not dense like Dunkin. Even with a line out the door on grand opening day, it moved pretty fast and the staff stayed friendly the whole time. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. A couple small things I would say need improvement.... Some music in the shop would help the atmosphere because it felt a little awkward standing in a silent line. Also, having paper menus posted closer to the door would make it easier to decide while waiting since it's hard to see the menu behind the register from far back. They do a donut of the day, which is a fun touch. Definitely worth checking their Facebook or calling ahead to see what the special is.
