This is a review for their new pizza. We tried it for the first time for dinner, $15 for the 14" medium. It was pretty good the crust was crunchy but ours was slightly burnt, sauce is delish and I love the garlic crust. The mozzarella on top though is just like Pizza Hut's cheese which I'm not the biggest fan of. read more

Bought 2 breakfast sandwiches, yesterday. One was a biscuit, the other a croissant. The biscuit was literally falling off the sandwich, top AND bottom, in huge chunks. Impossible to eat it like a sandwich. The croissant wasn't much better. Both were hurriedly and sloppily thrown together. Called and complained to the alleged manager, who never said a word, guess I didn't give her much of a chance. I picked up a salad yesterday at 9am for lunch and ended up eating it today for lunch at 12:30pm. My salad was still crisp fresh and delicious! The dressing was ranch and it was very delicious tasting. I had my salad made custom with Romain lettuce, bacon, hard-boiled egg, apples, cheddar cheese, and carrots. Tried stopping in to get a chocolate milkshake and the lady tells me they are out of cocoa powder. She acts like it's completely normal and say we've been out for like 5 days ‍‍ Wtf How are you out of chocolate powder?. You make milkshakes as a business, and it is the most common flavor sold. I ordered an Italian sub from this wawa..to be delivered. when it got here I put it in the kitchen, got my plate, opened the bag and it was warm..I ordered a cold sandwich,,,anyway,,I opened the bag and found a chicken parm instead. Pretty awesome gas station! I'd heard a lot about the powers of the Wawa, but had to see this for myself. There isn't one near my home, so I stopped by this one while out on about on a Sunday. You can pick up just about any type of snack or meal here in addition to beverage choices galore! The one thing I didn't like, though, was that the touchscreens throughout the place didn't allow me to choose from everything I could custom order. For example, I could order a warm cookie and a smoothie at one screen, but had to go across the place to order an iced latte. Weird. We ordered smoothies on our stop. The strawberry smoothie was loaded with sugar and not enough ice. It was impossible to finish. The strawberry banana was also sweet, but a little better as I think they actually put bananas in there and not puree. I'd love to try some of their breakfast bowls and sandwiches on a future visit, because the selection can't be beat. They even had hummus and yogurt and fresh fruits and veggies in addition to your standard convenience store junk food. read more

The place is really clean, well maintained and a great option from sandwich stores like Subway. They really do make good subs with great, fresh products and tasty bread. It's also nice to be able to pick up a decent snack at any ungodly hour of the day or night, especially when you are burning the midnight oil as I do so often. This particular Wawa, on the corner of Ridge and Little is very clean, bright and is always well lit and very orderly. There always appears to be someone outside or inside cleaning up the store. The staff here is very friendly and they are always helpful. You know, it's a gas stop. But it's well beyond the 7-11 scale. This is always my preference to run to when I realized I forgot cat food or toilet paper at 2 am, even though 7-11 is much closer to my house. And that is all I have to say about that. read more

It's a convenient store, no it's a sandwich shop, no a coffee bar! It's Wawa! Hey, it's a clean place and you can't ask for friendlier staff. Sure, convenience store food is what it is: snacks and drinks. This place has an advanced coffee area and a sub sandwich counter that sets it apart from the competition, and they offer some healthier snacks than the ones mentioned above (though it is mostly those mentioned above). Enjoy having this close to home. Cleanest convenience store around which matters a lot to me. Got my first sandwich yesterday and was blown away (much better than Publix subs). Turkey club sandwich was awesome! Only complaint is always crowded day and night and required to use machine to order. Two other customers nearby and I were helping each other and I finally got mine in, they left without ordering. (Could not figure out computer) Process is complicated and confusing, order on computer that is NOT user friendly, use ticket to pay across the store, get another ticket, then back across the store through hordes of people to wait for pick up of food with original ticket. ?? How do they know I paid? Fighting crowds of customers and long waits in line through entire process. Frankly, I am not always up for that much trauma. But this sandwich was worth it. read more

All the employies are very kind and caring. My worst fear came about this afternoon when my child ordered a club sandwich and it was toasted therefore not allowed to be purchased on food stamps. Before I'm talked down to or bad about I just came from a job interview doing my best to get off food stamps. I had to get the girls out of school early for the job interview they are quite hungry and it's been hours since they ate ; I myself wasn't getting anything. I had no money to buy the toasted one. Instead of taking it back or getting mad at me or talking down to me the management and employies showed so much empathy and understanding for our situation and let us keep the sandwiches and not talk down to us or make us feel any less but genuinely cared for. Some employees are rude and seem uncaring. I won't come back to those wawa because The staff is slow and they don't realize priorities. Today I waited over 7minutes for my cappuccino and the lady closed the order after 5 min so that no one would know she had us wait so long. No other orders ahead of us. Normally, I don't eat fast food, and I never liked food from a gas station/convenience store. But this Wawa is exceptional. Their submarine/hero is as good as it can get, light years ahead of any "Subway" sandwich shop. I've had the chicken salad hero, and the Italian cold cuts hero. They are very generous with "the good stuff" in it. The 10" roll is great, and the fillings of sweet pepper, roasted red peppers, cucumbers, pickles and baby spinach are fresh and tasty. I leave off lettuce and tomato, because those things are tasteless, wet, and just take up space that the good stuff can occupy. They often run a sale on their 10" which is easily lunch for two for just five bucks. Also, their lobster bisque is delicious. Everything I've had there is delicious and an outstanding value. Your meal here is going to be qualitatively better than most local restaurants, and far cheaper. And the store is clean and the staff is nice. I highly recommend this place, which is at the top of the game for what it is. read more

I finally went to my first Wawa! So clean and nice, wishing we would get a few in North Pinellas. My friend and I both ordered a specialty espresso drink and a cookie. Unfortunately you aren't able to customize the sweetness of the drink so we both ended up throwing ours away when we couldn't handle the sugar anymore, but I would look forward to trying a latte or cappuccino.
