Not all 7-11 are operated equally; some locations are nasty with sticky floors and then there's 7-1s like the Steamboat locations which are actually nice and not scary at all to walk into. I finally had to rate this location as it's done nothing but aggravate me. Yes, it's very convenient to where I live, but it continues to have issues with the pumps, despite letting their staff know. The problem is the pumps are ridiculously slow...no joke, it took a couple of minutes to pump a gallon of gas. Yes, THAT long! This has happened on several pumps on different days of the week. It also may help to have things cleaned up a little or even replace the faded pump screens; yes, I know it's just a gas station, but it would help to show a little pride and effort. Unless you have 20 minutes to spare, drive to the next gas station or you'll be staring at the slowest pumps ever...or you can turn your head and look at McDonalds or Home Depot while you wait! read more

After having our Korean dinner, I was super thirsty! On our way home, I started thinking a nice cold icee would perfect! When was the last time we had an icee?? Ten years or longer? The hubby gets gas every now and then, but I'm always at Costco or Sams for gas and groceries. So we both realized, we've never been in the store! So like teenagers in a candy store, we head towards the icee machine. Wow more than the two flavors we remember! I got the traditional cola, and hubby got the lemonade/blueberry. Way to tasty for the hubby, but mine was cold and just like I remembered. When we went to pay the worker was obviously stalking the shelves behind the counter, his first priority even while we waited... til he was ready. No words exchanged at all.. kind of different. The owners/employees of this 711 are absolutely awful. I stopped there today to put air in my tires. The store's air compressor was broken and flattened my tire instead of filling it. I went into the store to ask for help. Approached one employee who was walking through the store and said, "Excuse me." He waved a bag of trash in front of me and said, "Stupid woman, I'm busy." Then I waited in line and asked the person working the counter. He said, "Not our problem, you need to call the number on the machine." Refused to even look at the machine- not only leaving me stranded but also setting up other unsuspecting customers for the same situation . For the record, another friendly customer tested the air compressor as well and had the same result, so it was definitely not user error. read more

It's so nice to have a close gas station. I hated having to drive up to S. Virginia or down Double R to fill up. Having this station here rocks. Plenty of pumps. Always clean. Never busy. Prices are comparable to other local stations. Plus being able to grab a Slurpee while my car drinks up is a major bonus! read more

Have you ever called a convenient store before going just in case they didn't have what you wanted? That's how my once again unpleasant experience with this 7/11 began this time. I made a phone call simply to ask what slurpee flavors they had. They guy on the phone (Tebriz) stated he could not hear me. I spoke up and repeated the question, he then told me he did not understand my question. After a few minutes of him not responding at all he just hung up. I drove down to the store because well I'm still looking for a certain slurpee flavor. I asked the guy when I walked in if I could speak with a manager, HE SAID NO! I then asked for the corporate number HE SAID NO! The guy Tebriz then hands me a receipt from the customer before. THIS RECEIPT IS THE STORES COPY! Not to mention the other paying customer used a MasterCard and now I have some of their info. This guy was absolutely rude and even started laughing at me and the other person I was with. It's unfortunate that one employee could make a store look so bad, especially after this not being our first awful experience. Come on people! read more

You know I used to love this location but the last time I was there they gave me the wrong change, and not in my favor. I went back I immediately to discuss the discrepancy and the owner refused to do a count on the register- seriously! I know there can be mistakes sometimes, but the blatant refusal to check into it was enough for them to loose my business for good. Very non neighborly. Go to any other gas station then this one- they are not on the up and up. They lost a loyal customer over $5, so sad. I will now go out of my way to shop ANYWHERE BUT HERE. read more

I am giving this 7/11 4 stars just for convenience alone. It's great to have a gas station so close the the house. (We've had a couple rushing out of the driveway late on an empty tank mornings.) And it's even better to have that Redbox location right down the road. We get redbox all the time. It's our chance to get a movie in now and then. Having 2 kids under 4 doesn't leave you with many opportunities to go to the theaters. I have to say, I have never been inside this 7/11 yet. But we've been here many times. read more

The people who own and operate this 711 are rude, never smile and look like they do not want to work in customer service. The credit card system froze and the guy behind the counter put his hand on mine to stop me from using the credit card machine until it unfroze. You need to learn Western culture really quick! This place is quick and convenient. I can fill up my car AND get a Redbox movie while I wait. That is perfect in my book. There are plenty of pumps to use. The store has the usual convenience store goodies plus plenty of Slurpee flavors. They also have oil and windshield washer fluids, in case you are in need. read more
