My car sat idle for a year, so in addition to the converter, my car needed a tune up, oil change, emissions and again I was expecting a huge bill, but the total was so reasonable and less than. Thought I was going to have to pay. I brought it in on a Wednesday and picked it on Friday. Fast and efficient and reasonably priced! Can't ask for more than that! I highly recommend them and will be coming back for what ever will breakdown in the future!

To be fair, I could probably use a GPS, but when the Yelp app is so handy (yes, roll your eyes again.. I don't care.. Yelp app is where it's at) I go home happy, refueled, and with a package of Zingers. So that's the scoop here. Outside of the main hubbub of downtown, quiet enough to drop in. It's a Maverik, so you get the Country Store part of it, complete with horribly bad (good) food. The place has a walk-in beer cooler, too. A cave? Yes, I would call it a beer cave. I stopped by to fill up my tank but the first pump I tried was broken. The display said it accepted…read moremy credit card but then the Maverik logo came on the screen and overlapped the text. Nothing happened after that and I tried lifting the nozzle and selecting a fuel grade which seemed to work but as soon as I started pumping the gas it shut off and then the screen on the pump blacked out. I went inside and told the guy behind the counter what happened and asked if the pump charged my card. He said no, and told me to try another pump because he didn't have time to fix the one I tried to use. I wanted to pay by card at the register but switched to cash because the guy was giving me a hard time about credit cards for some reason. I gave him $40 and then he printed out this ticket with an authorization code on it and told me I had to enter it at the pump to unlock it. I've never had to do that at a gas station before. I had to wait a while because all the other pumps were in use and when I tried the code at another pump it wouldn't let me pick a fuel grade because it didn't register that I lifted the nozzle. I kept trying but nothing happened. I went back to the guy who was now smoking a cigarette outside, and when I explained the situation he got annoyed and went over to "do it for me." When he tried the pump the same thing happened so he said to use another pump because this one wasn't working either. No shit Sherlock. I was wasting my time because these damn pumps didn't work and this dude was treating me like some kind of idiot who didn't know how to pump gas. I wanted my money back so we went inside and he gave me my $40. I said thanks anyway and he replied "yeah" but he was sneering at me. I went to another gas station in the area and filled up my tank in less than two minutes. Simple and fast, unlike the 15 minutes I wasted at the Maverik. I find it a little ironic that Maverik's corporate headquarters are only a couple miles away and one of their gas stations in the area is a broken mess. I won't be visiting another Maverik.
