Half went horseback riding and the other half canoeing then we switched out. Each session was about an hour long. We also got to tour the farm lands a bit before everyone separated, saw a few different animals which the kids love. The canoeing was fun and we stopped off on a little beach type area along the 22 mile stretch of water. Obviously we did not canoe the entire 22 miles I don't think we would've made it back by nightfall if we did LOL. AnyWho we hopped out and had a look around our new found "beach", self exploration the headed back. FYI the canoeing session was a self-guided tour so if you do that first be sure you keep watch of the time. The horseback riding was pretty nice and relaxing. The weather was perfect and our guides made sure that we were all comfortable. They gave us cold water and also stopped to take a few photos for us. If you have children they'll only go on the short version where you circle back twice so you'll still have an hour or you can just head back after the first time around. However if there are only adults they will actually take you into the woods. Overall this was a good experience. They take their time to set up everything but they make sure it's done right. Also it was a bit messy because they are shorthanded and things have been crazy since Covid.. We had to get her own canoe flip it over and wash it out. No big deal for me. They did have three other canoes for the members in our party, remember we were an unexpectedly larger group. All of that was understandable. Everyone enjoyed themselves and it was quite the experience for the little ones.

We went for their goat yoga class and we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of the farm & getting to meet & feed some of the other animals. Manish told us all about all the animals & the farm's sustainable energy and made sure we were enjoying the pre-class tour with lots of jokes. We got to carry the goats from their pen to the yoga area and it was such a cool experience. The class was great -- a good workout with lots of entertainment from jumping baby goats. Our instructor told us about the symbolism of having a goat place all 4 hooves on your back being a gateway to releasing any tension or negativity. Even with a class of about 15 people, they made sure to give all of us plenty of opportunities for the goats to get onto our backs. Those of us who are usually a little nervous around excited animals even felt comfortable enough to play with the adorable baby goats and we were all sad to leave them. If you're looking for a calming, nature focused experience, I would definitely recommend visiting 24 Karat Ranch! It's run by such sweet people and the baby goats are adorable. The farm is well maintained with two great arenas, one indoor, one outdoor that have great footing and jumps. They have some open space around the farm that you can go on trail rides on if you'd like, which seems a bit harder to find in some parts of Florida. Debbie and Michael are no nonsense, no drama, knowledgeable owners which is refreshing as it makes for a pleasant experience at the barn. They and the staff take excellent care of the horses, and notice the smallest things which coming from our background is very much appreciated. Tu-Bahd has a great lesson program for kids of all ages. Kathy does a great job introducing kids to horses and it seems they really respond positively. Having grown up riding, and through USPC (graduate H-A) I appreciate her knowledge. We are grateful to have found Tu-Bahd Farms when we did, and have been very happy with our horses care.
