I reached out to my surgeons office and my PT; my PT said it may be fluid buildup. I immediately searched for lymph drainage and found Ashley. She was very responsive and I came in the next day. Her space is very relaxing and zen. She is incredibly knowledgeable not just about her craft but about nutrition, vitamins, wellness and I really enjoyed learning from her. The session was relaxing while being very effective. I could see the fluid moving away from my knee. She also took the time to show me how to do this myself for at home maintenance between sessions. I took her advice to drink lots of water and eat very clean after wards and woke uo this morning with a lot more mobility in my surgical knee/leg than I've had in awhile (as well as aesthetically noticing my legs being less "full"). I will definitely be booking with Ashley for maintenance sessions! This isn't just for surgical patients though/ even when I'm recovered, I realized how important this is to do intermittently for our bodies in general!
