They also offer takeaway "supper" on weekend evenings, which is brill. And, most importantly, it doesn't use the word "deli" in vein. It really is a deli.

Personally, after visiting this ambient place, where the seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is welcoming, as well the staff who meet and greet you with a smile. I have found the food is value for money, whether an early morning breakfast, lunch or afternoon meal. There are also great fillers for those inbetween snacks and savoury requirements. Offering many different hot refreshments in regards of Teas and Coffee's, from Instant to Ground, the servings are well priced and sufficient. Also, those drinks for the children are ample measures to quench even the youngest hearts. Most often than not, my finding opportunity to sit in the Conservatory part, where the beautiful days sun is trapped, lays way for the breathtaking views that look out over Waterloo Lake, and, if well timed to the Summer, you get to see the boats and Rowers practice. It is a sight that cannot be beaten whilst sitting with a hot Latte and BLT or hearty meal. There is also the veranda area which is always clean and tidy (maybe after a busy lunch it does have a small amount of cleaning up) but the pleasure in sharing a meal with friends in the fresh air is next to none. This branch of Starbucks has parking outside (!) obviously limited spaces, has a large seating area and always seems to be full of the 'yummy-mummy' types! There was quite a few people in there today (9am), around 10/12 people but none in the Q so I got served straight away! The server helped me discover that I could pre-load my then empty payment card (like a loyalty scheme/clubcard thing) and earn points for today's purchase! Very useful info indeed. So, card topped up, coffee received at a bargain price and all within 7/8 minutes. Very efficient service, all areas appeared nice and clean and the coffee was just what I wanted. Most sandwiches sit in the £4 - £5 range, with a choice of ciabatta or baguette. It's worth going for a baguette, as there's a pretty noticeable size different - if you're paying that much then you may as well get something substantial! Although the food is really tasty and made fresh to order, it's a little disappointing that nothing I've ordered so far seems to come with the option of salad. Everything I've had so far has been grilled meat with cheese - undeniably tasty, but missing something. Even things like chutney or relish have been used sparingly, so I'd expect a little extra something for that £5. I haven't yet eaten in, but everything is available for takeaway. The takeaway bags aren't big enough for the baguettes and are made of thin paper, so if you're driving back to the office with a sandwich you'll need something else to put it in, or end up with greasy seats! Minor flaws, but at these prices it can feel a bit rough. Even cheap places like Deli Chez have decent bags and the option to add salad, more sauce etc. That said, the food is really tasty and the sandwiches are well filled!

The point is, I really liked this place. it has a great menu which isn't wallet straining and they also do special offers on their web site. I'm pretty sure that the menu would contain something for everyone unless you are taking a confirmed cannibal out for a bite (normally I'd make a crack about tasty staff here but I'm a reformed character). As for the coffee, well you'd have to be a tea drinker to not appreciate it. My latte was smooth and frothy and delicious all the way. Even if you are just on a flying visit it's worth trying the lovely brownie.
