Best way to get to downtown Montreal from Pierre Trudeau Airport is to take the 747 Express Bus! Very good value. Better deal than taking a taxi from the airport to downtown. $10 per person is what it will cost you. Our flight arrived from the U.S. around 5pm. After getting our baggage, we looked for information on the bus. Found the info we were looking after exiting the International Customs area. There was a information desk (close to the exit) with people to help us. They told us which stop to use which would bring us closest to our hotel. They then directed us to one of the machines which we used to pay for our tickets. Took us about 45 minutes in rush hour to get to downtown Montreal from the airport. Would have taken us much longer if we used a taxi or rented a car. There is even a special lane just for this bus which made the trip faster. Chances of using this service in the future is very high! Great value!! Would not hesitate to use them again.

Very convenient way to get from the airport to and from Montreal. Cheap fare and round the clock schedule make this a perfect choice for travelers. Free WIFI is awesome if you are someone with a non Canadian data plan. Bus is clean and runs quickly to the destinations. Don't ride any other way when visiting this beautiful city!

I called customer service immediately and after speaking to a customer service agent for over a half hour, was told that the only refund I could be offered on my $200+ ticket was $34.50. A 15% refund on a ticket cancelled during extreme weather conditions isn't customer service; it's excessively punitive and unreasonable. I felt completely stonewalled by the supervisor to whom I spoke. Extremely unsatisfactory.

I am writing this review to share a very troubling experience I had while traveling with Greyhound…read more My mother and I traveled from New York to Montreal on a night bus scheduled to depart at midnight on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. We arrived slightly late at 12:03 a.m., but the bus had not yet departed. Our tickets were quickly checked by an agent, and we were allowed to board the bus without any issue. The driver appeared to be busy dealing with a technical problem and did not pay much attention to passengers boarding. The trip started normally. About five hours later, when we were close to the U.S.-Canada border, the driver decided to check tickets again. At that point, we realized we had made a genuine mistake: our tickets were for Monday, January 12 instead of Tuesday, January 13. We immediately apologized for the mistake. However, the driver responded very aggressively and repeatedly told us to "get out of the bus," refusing to have any discussion. He stepped outside and waited for us to leave. It took me a moment to realize he was serious. I explained that it was around 5 a.m., we were in the middle of nowhere, I had no Wi-Fi or phone service, and I could not reasonably leave my mother stranded in the cold. This behavior showed a complete lack of basic customer service and empathy. The driver then threatened to call the police if we did not get off the bus. I pointed out that our tickets had already been checked before boarding and that this issue should not have been discovered five hours into the trip. At that point, the driver offered to let us continue the journey if we paid him $40 USD in cash ($20 each). We felt forced to accept, as we had no realistic alternative to get home. The money was taken directly by the driver, not through any official Greyhound process. After paying, we were allowed back onto the bus. Another passenger later told me that he had made the same ticket mistake and had been charged $100 USD in cash by the driver before boarding, which the driver also put directly into his pocket. This experience felt like extortion, not customer service. I do not believe it is acceptable--or legal--for a driver to demand cash payments from passengers in order to continue a trip, especially under threats and in unsafe conditions. I am extremely disappointed and concerned by this experience. I hope Greyhound takes this seriously and addresses this type of behavior, as it reflects very poorly on the company.

I was very skeptic regarding the tour due to the low price. Everything was well organized including the timing of each departure destination and itinerary. There were two downsides in our tour which was beyond the travel agencies control, so my rating was not affected. When we arrived at the Montmorency Falls, we were unable to take the cable cars due to strike. There were employees picketing in front of the entrance. The tour guide refunded the cost of this destination immediately which shows honesty of the business. Second for lunch, we went for buffet des continents The food selection was very subpar, not worth the $21 per person. A friend from the tour even came out and called us, letting Mick know we were on our way, but he still refused to wait. What makes this even worse is that this was a college trip with students. As a tour guide responsible for a student group, a little patience, communication, and consideration should be expected. Instead, we were left behind over a delay of just a couple of minutes. Leaving paying customers behind in these circumstances is incredibly unprofessional and shows a complete lack of responsibility and customer care. There was no reasonable effort made to ensure everyone was accounted for before departing. This was easily one of the worst tour experiences I've had. Mick's attitude and lack of professionalism completely ruined the experience for us. I would strongly advise colleges, student organizations, and anyone planning group travel not to use this company for organizing tours. If this is how they handle a simple situation involving students who were only a couple of minutes late, I would seriously question their professionalism and commitment to their customers.
