Plus, the staff is always super friendly and understanding. We like to come here for grocery type items in addition to getting gas. But what we really like is the car wash. However, the dang thing likes to act up a lot and/or not give you what you paid for. That is not a reason to mark down any stars...why? Well, if you just let the staff know they'll give you your money back or another car wash. I love it when you find a place with no hassles and has everything you need. Woot! On an ending note, the location is awesome on US 1 and near the Nocatee turn off.

Even though I have a high number of check-ins here, it still doesn't even begin to reflect how much I actually stop at this store because half the time I forget to check-in because the stop is so quick. Gas is as cheap as it's going to get in this area of town. There are plenty of pumps and enough space between the pumps that you're night right on top of another car. I've never had a problem with any of the pumps working properly. The store is always clean, as are the restrooms. Tons of snacks can be found here in this large store and everything is always well-stocked. The cashiers are nice and friendly. Buy one of their 64oz plastic "jugs" (it's either 5 or 6 bucks and comes with a fountain drink) and then you can come in whenever you like and fill it up for a buck. You don't even have to have one of the Gate "jugs" ... you can have one for Hess, 7-11, etc... they'll still let you fill it up for a buck. They have an air pump and it's free. Very convenient when hopping off and on I-295.

Because of the pumps being out- it makes it a little more interesting to get gas here- for the time being. I was able to pull right into a pump, but others were waiting for spots to free up to pull in. Prices here are a little higher than other stations around Jax- but I swear where, if it's near the interstate- it's hiked a few pennies! And this location is off 295. Scan your membership card and enter payment and fill up your tank! We had seen the signs that the gas station was getting renovations and were pleasantly surprised to see they kept gas pumps open during the work. Beware- weekends can yield crazy lines. It's supposed to be one way in, one way out- but there is always someone who has to go the wrong way. The pumps have extra long hoses to reach the other side of your car- but for my SUV, it's tight to pull in on the wrong side. I would rather wait. Cars probably have an easier time with that. Gas pumps are kept clean and it relatively easy to get in and out.

The location of this store is in front of Gate Headquarters, so it has no choice but to be top notch. The store has all your convenience store essentials like blunt wrappers, malt liquor, condoms, lottery tickets, etc. They also sell gasoline; the price is in line with the other stores around. So if you looking at being intoxicated, fueling up your car, or just need a can of gas for other reasons then Gate is for you. Seriously the store has been remodeled in recent years and it stays pretty clean and the crew is always friendly.
