Everything is nicely isolated, heated, etc., The views are amazing, the kitchen is spacious, there's a great game room, music room, TVs everywhere, and more. The biggest hot tub I have seen in my life that can fit 15 people without a problem, a BBQ (in summer), access to the lake, and enough individual bedrooms with their own private exits to make it easy for any VIPs not to bother the entire party. Finally, more than anything, if you choose to use some of the host's services around meeting planning, banquets, food, this is where the value is incredible. The host and her team are simply the sweetest, most resourceful and willing to help team I have ever experienced, and nothing was spared to make sure our stay was incredible, from getting ear plugs for someone sharing a room with a loud snorer, to buying more beer the second we ran out. The food that the caterer created for us was utterly delicious, and we were basically fed 24/7 high quality Michelin restaurant food. I can't recommend this enough -- and, one little detail that most people overlook, the WiFi is great. Multiple people streaming, VPN'ing and presenting without any problems.

It went off without a hitch and Les Lofts' directions in the email were absolutely perfect! The loft was gorgeous and we loved our unit! Full kitchen , full sized fridge, laundry, a full bath upstairs and a powder room at the bottom. Lovely view of the old Quebec street below. And the coolest part is that it's right above the Cow ice cream shop lol. Les Lofts thought of everything - down to a first aid kit under the bathroom sink. The only minor gripe was lack of paper towels and there weren't any tide pods/laundry detergent. Would've been nice but no biggie. Clean, comfortable , spacious - what more can I ask for ? And pricing wise, it's about the same as staying at a 3 star hotel in Old Quebec. Highly recommend!

There was a bottle of water in a jug in the fridge for us and a Nespresso machine with 4 pods. The washroom was also well provisioned with lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. The overall feel of the loft was welcoming, modern and fresh. I would definitely book Maison Kent again the next time we are in Quebec City.

When we arrived, they had a bottle of Prosecco on ice as a surprise with a handwritten card for my sis. We had two robes in the room and got a third for my mom as well as some slippers. The exterior is really pretty and the type of hotel you walk by and wish you were staying at. I know because I was in Quebec city two years ago and clocked this hotel as a great spot and a place I wanted to book in the future. The interior is just as beautiful - the reception is on the 7th floor so you have to go up the elevator and the view once you're up there is awesome! You can see a lot of Quebec city from here including the famous Frontenac. The queen double bedroom was really pretty and big, the rooms are dressed with side tables on both sides of the bed (a bonus as so many don't!) there was nice artwork on the walls, nice finishes that made the room feel richer. The bathroom is gorgeous with nice black and white tile flooring and a marble-y kind of shower. There were two chairs for seating space and a cool table that looked like a wine glass as a base. My only complaint which is hard for the hotel to control, but on the 3rd floor, the room next to us for the first night were big party go-ers and were playing their music till about 12 am which was really quite loud. Then came banging into their room at 4 am. They were also for sure smoking as we could smell it coming through the vents (non-smoking hotel). They were only there for the one night so we didn't end up telling the staff as they were already gone by the morning. The beds were really cozy too with soft sheets and good pillows. They had little maple candies on our beds one night after dinner which was a nice surprise. They also had pillow spray too. I love hotels that go above and beyond so you feel taken care of. Now the hotel bar - it is rare to find a bar at a hotel that's worth sitting at, we went 3 times! We loved the staff here, they were so accommodating and carry so much zero proof alcohol so their options for mocktails were endless which was great for our group as some people don't drink alcohol. The bar has a really cozy and sexy vibe - with the fireplace to one side and comfy couches and chairs around the room. There is also a classy bookcase of premium spirits. We had a blast here all 3 times. Location when I travel is also everything, and this spot is PERFECT - best location as it is close to so many fun shops, great food and convenient pick up locations. We loved shopping and eating down Rue-Saint-Jean. It's also a really quick 10-15 minute walk to the Frontenac. When we were staying too there was a cute ice rink right outside the theatre. Highly highy recommend this place and would love to stay again!

Yes the fairmont gets you the big view and a more "castle" and "historical experience" but in terms of luxury, cleanliness, and convenience, would recommend Le Capitole. For 500$ a night, in the fairmont, you get a peephole of the city. For a similar price at the Fairmont, you get a very nice view. We got the largest suite possible and it felt like a studio apartment minus a kitchen. There was valet parking and we were located right by all the "downtown" bustle area. The hike up to Fairmont was only 10 mins long and you still get a good experience. If you go to Quebec and want large room with same luxury as Fairmont, highly recommend this place. Good service, close access to all the shopping and food. Safe area, clean, modern, and has a great pool and bar.

Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Old Québec…read more L'Hôtel du Vieux-Québec was our home for a six-day holiday in Québec City, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. Our double queen room with kitchenette was spacious, immaculately clean, quiet, and exceptionally comfortable. After long days exploring the city, we particularly appreciated the deep soaking tub, the rainfall shower, and what may have been some of the best water pressure we've experienced in a hotel anywhere. Small details matter, and this hotel gets them right. The location is fantastic--perfectly situated within Old Québec and within easy walking distance of the city's historic sites, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Despite being in the heart of everything, the hotel was remarkably peaceful and quiet. One of our favorite amenities was the guest lounge and its outstanding coffee machine, which quickly became part of our daily routine. We also opted for the breakfast package, and it was a delight. Each morning we awoke to a basket of fresh breakfast goodies hanging on our door: fresh pastries, juice, yogurt, and other treats. We never tired of it. As a fun local note, visitors should know that the beloved pain au chocolat is called a "chocolatine" here, just as it is in the south of France! What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. M. Pierrôt deserves special recognition. He was warm, helpful, knowledgeable, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. In truth, every member of the staff we encountered embodied the hotel's reputation for friendly, personalized service. We also appreciated staying in a property with such a rich history. Built on land once known as the "Garden of the Poor," where medicinal plants were cultivated by the Augustines of the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, the site has witnessed centuries of Québec City's evolution. Today, the hotel beautifully blends that historic character with modern comfort and thoughtful amenities. It is easy to understand why L'Hôtel du Vieux-Québec has earned such an outstanding reputation among travelers. For us, it was the perfect base from which to explore one of North America's most beautiful and historic cities.
