I went to this clinic for a consultation and was very dissatisfied with their customer service. First of all they never confirmed my appointment which I had booked 2 weeks in advance. I called and said this is so and so I have an appointment today but I forgot the time could you please tell me what time the consultation was? She says oh miss we called and emailed you yesterday about the time. Instead of just telling me the time. She started arguing with me.I was like oh I didn't receive anything. Are you sure you have my right number and email. So I repeated the phone and email to her. She says yes and we did call and confirm yesterday. I was like oh no I haven't received any phone calls from you guys. She said well we did email you. I was like no I don't have any emails from you either. She said yes we did email you a confirmation. I told her to check and see if they sent me an email. She said oh yes we did. I said do you see it? She said no but we did send you an email. At this point I was so frustrated. I said ok so you're calling me a liar because I'm looking at my email right now and I don't see any email confirming my appointment. She kept arguing with me. I said ok lady I just called to confirm the time so please tell me the time and stop arguing with me. So finally I went for the consulatation. There is 3 women running around and non of them are actually helpful. This woman Alex takes me in this room and take these professional pictures.These girls really try to sell you on going with the procedure and push hard to sell you on it. Alex kept telling me about how she just had a nose job and that it was great but she didn't really help me get answers and didn't make me feel comfortable. So finally I see the dr. He was ok so I though maybe I should go with the procedure. But the consultation was so short and I forgot to ask him a few questions. I asked Alex and she said he was busy now with another Patient. She said she would get answers for me that day. 2 weeks went by and no reply so I called the office and the secretary said Alex was busy. I called again and she was busy again so I told her please let her know to call me back. But no one called so I called again and told them that I had enough of their bad service and was going to the office. Later that day I received an email but I was so fed up with these ppl that I called and booked an appointment at another clinic. They were booking 1 month in advance but it was worth the wait. read more

I can't recommend this clinic enough. They were absolutely fabulous! I had a terribly deviated septum and a crooked bridge, I had lifelong issues with my breathing, headaches, and snoring. I also didn't feel comfortable with how my nose looked. Dr. Buonassisi recommended rhinoplasty and septoplasy. He was very humble. He never promised 100% results. He was clear about the risks and the potential of my nose not being 100% straight after the surgery. Alexandra was very clear and forthcoming about the financial costs of having surgery. She was even generous enough to share her personal story and experience having the same surgery, which hugely helpful for me in making my decision. The digital imaging technology they use to show you what your nose looks like before and potentially what it looks like after was incredibly helpful . I never felt pressured to make a decision in favour of surgery. Dr. B and his assistant Alexandra gave me a lot of time and space to make my decision. Once I did make my decision they were very prompt in booking me within six months of my initial consultation. Felt well informed about all the things I needed to do to prepare for surgery with plenty of time to make those preparations. The surgery itself was not painful. It was fairly quick despite Dr. Buonassisi discovering that my septum was fractured in multiple places and having to fix that during the surgery. The clinic over on Ash and West 8th where they perform the surgery might be the most comfortable, clean, and wonderfully staffed clinic I've ever been to in my whole life. There was nothing scary about it. I wasn't left with any scars. I looked completely normal within two weeks of my surgery, bruise gone, majority of the swelling gone. I could have gone back to work within 2 1/2 or three weeks easily but I chose to take a month off to rest and recuperate. I feel incredible and like I said earlier Dr. B was so humble about his skills and talents as a surgeon: I look better than the images suggested I would. I had better results than Dr. B suggested I would. That's a sign of a great doctor in my opinion. If you're going to get life-changing surgery this is the clinic and the surgeon for you . read more

I am very happy with the results of the surgery performed by Dr Buonassisi and his professional team. The care and attention to detail from the initial contact between myself and 8 West has been second to none and the results speak for themselves - perfect. I recommend Dr Buonassisi without any reservations. A little about my experience: I'm a late 30's white male, active and was concerned about how my eyes lids were making me look slightly 'tired' as I still feel so much younger inside - who doesn't? I researched at length which Vancouver surgeon would be best for my lower eyelid bleph. Dr Buonassisi and 8 West stood out, a specialist in facial surgery only (v important) with a wealth of experience and all the right credentials (including his route through his profession. All plastic/cosmetic surgeons are not the same). His manner at my initial consultation was realistic, understanding and with care and empathy - a manner consistent throughout the period of surgery itself and my ongoing post-op checkups. He's supported in this by a friendly, knowledgable and efficient team. I felt naturally at ease. Facial surgery is a big decision not taken without reservations. I have NO REGRETS. The surgery itself was uneventful which is what you want it to be. The healing process takes time which varies from person to person. There have been no complications nor pain. Unlike the many website forums which seem to indicate you can be 'back at work two weeks after the operation' I felt I needed longer - about a month afterwards I was happy to be out not concerned about how I looked. I'm now at the three month point and the scars are minimal and very difficult to see, Dr Buonassisi is very pleased with my status as am I. So in summary, my opinion? 8 West was offering a package of one Halo treatment and three BBL treatments. I decided to go ahead after the skin on my face was computer analyzed and I was found to be in the first percentile for pigmentation for my age. I already had visible freckles, uneven skin tone and redness, and after being shown the pigmentation on my face that wasn't yet visible to the naked eye, I thought it was time to do something about it. Aesa did all four treatments. She is wonderful - she thoroughly explained what was going to happen and why, what to expect, and gave me small breaks throughout. She also followed up regularly after each treatment and emailed me a detailed aftercare regime that she put together to treat my specific skin concerns. The worst part of the halo treatment was the sunburned feeling afterwards. Aesa gave me a spray and I used it constantly while I was driving home. If I could do it differently, I would get a ride home so I didn't have to concentrate on driving and spraying at the same time. I stayed on the couch with a cold wet cloth on my face for the rest of the day. The pain had receded by day two but my face was still too red to go out. Try to schedule this so you don't have to work the next day. The BBL treatments sting a bit at the time but there's no pain afterwards. My face appeared blotchy as the pigmentation came up but a bit of mineral makeup covered it. By the third treatment I didn't even need to use the makeup. I noticed improvements over the weeks of the treatments and now my face is glowing. I have some stubborn redness left on either side of my nose and may do one more spot treatment to target just that area. Otherwise the difference is remarkable. I contacted 8West when looking for a surgeon for breast augmentation. Alex has been awesome to deal with. She has been with me through the entire process answering calls and emails in a timely fashion and arranging my appointments and giving instructions of what to expect. She is the one that introduced me to Dr Bovill. I'm over the moon happy with Dr Bovill and my results from my breast augmentation and mastopexy. I absolutely loved meeting with Lisa. I've gone to her for two procedures and I am so happy with the results of both treatments. I received Dysport for the sides of my eyes and forehead in between brows which has left my face virtually without a single wrinkle! She was gentle, genuine and conscious of what I wanted. Dysport was so quick and easy, no pain whatsoever, just small pinches that almost feel nice. Results showed within a couple days. The second time I went to Lisa was for hyaluronic fillers to fill my little cheeks so that I no longer had massive tired lines down my face. Every time I looked in the mirror I would look so exhausted when I wasn't even tired. I had these deep ligament lines since high school and once I had my 29th bday I decided to take things into my own hands. For the fillers I received topical and local freezing and it was just a bit uncomfortable but not painful at all. Lisa was so gentle and was very focused on getting the results I was looking for. Healing took almost 2 weeks. The first few days I honestly could barely smile but after about a week I started feeling normal again and now I'M SO HAPPY. Hi everyone At the end of February last I had my 4th amazing facial with Kimberley Kucharek. Kim was as professional and wonderful as ever. This time I had a chemical peel for the first time. I'll be honest I was a little nervous at the thought of a peel but the results were beyond amazing. I recently had a combined facelift/necklift and rhiniplasty with Dr Buonassisi. The surgery was completely pain-free, thanks to the use of twilight anesthesia, which I now highly recommend. Even though the procedure took 6 hrs, I only remember a few brief moments. The rest felt like drifting through light dreams (at one point I was having a Star Wars style dream), which actually made the experience surprising ly pleasant. Throughout the process I felt calm, safe and fully cared by Dr Buonassisi and his team. Recovery was manageable, and at no point did I experience real pain- just the normal expected tightness and swelling. I had a great exfoliating facial at 8 West Clinic, Broadway and Burrard, Vancouver. My goal was to freshen up my skin and add some good hydration. Kimberly was very informative about the different types of products they use and how they work into the skin. She educated me much on serums versus just a face moisturizer. I understand better the process of hydrating and which products feed the skin and which just sit on the surface. A session with Kimberly is well worth it when you think about how much we spending on product and how much we can really waste when not applied properly. Before making a decision to get Coolsculpting at 8West I went to 5 other consults.
