The studio manager said this is a standard fee. I could understand being charged for the use of a professional grade source-connect. But we're not going to pay a fee for the use of a free program. Mind you the skype situation wasn't even set up for us to access our actor in the recording booth. We used facetime on our phones for that... Feels to me like they're squeezed tight due to the current covid situation and this studio manager is now passing that off onto his lower-end customers who probably usually aren't willing to speak out when manipulated.
