The staff was extremely courteous as well as professional. The audio engineer allowed me the option to sit in on his portion of the creative process and was not opposed to my artistic input. The receptionist ordered my meal and baked fresh cookies for me! I'm sure that sounds far fetched however, it came with the session package I purchased. The studio was very clean and secure. There is an intercom system to get buzzed in and out of the studio. If you're not scheduled or listed as a guest you wont get in. I loved it! Also, there is a separate lounge area with snack machines and a television that has an intercom system there too connecting you to the engineer so you can listen to your work in the lounge when its finished if you don't choose to stay in the console room while the engineer mixes. The mastering service is incredible too! I was only in town for a couple days and the entire project got mixed and mastered in the same day. The experience alone was money well spent and to top it off the quality of the work matched the price. I suggest serious artists that understand cost and worth and are looking for radio ready productions go to patchwerk. You wont be disappointed. I highly recommend their services. I absolutely love recording at Patchwerk. Besides world class equipment and world class engineers, Patchwerk makes independent artists feel at home. Given all the super star artists who record at Patcherwerk, Curtis and his staff treat independent artists with the same level of respect as they do the superstars. As the owner of an independent label, I thought Patchwerk rates would be above my budget. One Saturday I took a tour of their studios and decided to record one of my artist, Yani Simone record there. Was I in for a shock! Sonically superior is no overstatement! The engineer's experience and professionalism exceeded all of my expectations. Curtis and his crew provided top notch service and a great final product. I am a middle school teacher, and I brought 75 of my chorus students to Patchwerk to record a Christmas album.
