It is located in a beautiful and lush area on Queen Emma Street near the Queen's Hospital...fit for a...QUEEN! Lol, playing with words here! This place is quaint and quite lovely. Actually, I can imagine a Queen coming here to relax, socialize and dine here. I really enjoyed coming here...probably my first...and my last time here. Unless, I get invited here again...HINT HINT! The Pacific Club is a private club for Members ONLY! I was fortunate enough to be invited to my friend's graduation party at this venue. Upon arrival, I was amazed with the ambiance! The open air concept of the club is so peaceful, serene and relaxing! Love, love, love that! We were in the...MANGOS dining area. Of course, surrounded by mango trees! What a perfect place to chill, gather, drink, eat and be merry with friends and family! Here's what I enjoyed: CAESAR SALAD: so ono! I only had 3 servings of this, lol. One of my favorite for the evening! KALUA PIG BAO BUNS: very delish. I had seconds on this. SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP with PITA CHIPS: delicious, but very rich. POTSTICKERS: pretty good...your typical dumplings PRIME RIB: yummy for my tummy. I enjoyed this twice. BREAD PUDDING with a cream sauce: this was yummy and decadent. I loved this, too. So, if you get an invitation to go to ...THE PACIFIC CLUB for a party or to socialize here, make sure you go! You'll thank me for that!

10/20/25 Came here for a group luncheon today and also my first time here. Our luncheon was…read morescheduled at 11AM and there was lots of parking available. The grounds are well kept and there is a covered drive-way at the entrance to the club for drop-offs. When you walk in, there is a feeling of coziness. The main reception area is very welcoming with comfortable seating, plants and a beautiful painting of the Waimea Canyon. To the left of the entrance and past the reception desk, there is library room filled with books and seating. Our luncheon was held in the Card room. There were about 40 of us in attendance. This room also gives you the feeling of comfort and welcome. The buffet was situated on tables along the windows. The food was good. There were 2 entrees - roasted chicken, shitake hoisin cream sauce and furikake crusted salmon with wasabi butter sauce. The salmon had nice flavor, not overcooked or dry and even though there was wasabi in the sauce, it wasn't a lot to be spicy. The chicken was boneless and skinless thighs, also not dry to the taste and the sauce complemented the chicken perfectly. Other items on the buffet line were caesar salad, fresh made rolls, tomato-mozzarella salad, huge fruit bowl, steamed vegetables, fried rice, and a separate dessert table. There were 3 - mini chocolate cake, apple tart, and bread pudding. The apple tart was good and the bread pudding with the sauce was ono. I didn't care for the fried rice because there were too many vegetables in it and not a local-style type fried rice. It is a nice venue to have a function and it seems to be a popular place. I noticed when we entered the building there were several functions scheduled on their events board for the rest of the day. I don't know if they were shorthanded but the wait staff did not come around to refill water glasses or iced tea. There was a table set up for coffee or tea so apparently it was self-serve after they give you the first glass. But the whole 2 hours there, no one had come by to fill our water glasses. And they seemed a little slow at removing used plates from the tables. Restrooms were very clean and had nice touches like mouthwash dispenser with paper cups and wash cloth towels to dry your hands vs paper towels. Overall, ambiance is great, food was good, improvement needed on the wait staff.

Without going into too much detail, let's just say that the Masonic family in Hawaii is very tight-knit and gets together often for meetings and other functions. This lodge has just undergone refurbishment. There is a brand-new kitchen that is set up to prepare large quantities of food at once, rooms that can be used for gatherings, and a dining area that can accommodate everyone. To get access to this location at all, you are need to be a member of the Masonic organization. In a nutshell, it is an EXCELLENT location for making connections with other people and serving the local community. Come drop by if you are a traveling mason and have fun catching up with your brothers!

This lodge is newly renovated. There is a new kitchen equipped to cook big batches of meals, rooms to hold meetings, and a hall for everyone to enjoy dinner. To even use this place, you need to be part of the masonic organization. Basically, it is a GREAT place to network and help the community. If you are a visiting mason, come by and enjoy meeting your bros! I've been coming here for years just accompanying my other half. They are more like family not a "social club". Other masonic organizations meet here so there is a good chance that if you stop by, you will meet someone. If you are not a mason, the best chance to know more is.....to be 1, ask 1. Some open events that I've been to are the Holiday gatherings and Officer installations. My favorite events are the family events and the volunteer events they do. A big one is for the Shriner's Hospital of Hawaii. The help raise funds for the hospital's transportation fund. If you are guy who loves to help and be part of something, then maybe it's time you come down and ask about it :)

June 13, 2015 11:00am to 4:00pm…read more I really didn't know what to expect. I was just thinking "water gun" could be lots of water fun. This looked like a group that was opening it up to the public and that was good enough for me to get in on the action and fun. Using the information from their facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/events/963975613646627/ I easily located their location although I had to walk from the other side of the park to get there. I was greeted and I asked if this was the correct place because they were not set up yet. It was and I located a shady spot to plop ourselves down. Other people started to show and I was advised by Ming there will be more coming. That was good to hear. We eyed everyone coming in checking out their armament is possible. We went shopping for our guns the day before checking water capacity, shooting distance, missile capabilities, etc. Gabriel B. settled on a big gun, not the biggest, but pretty darn big and brought his swimming goggles for added protection. i settled on a single shot, quick reload $3.00 gun. This is mainly an Otaku group that was coming together to celebrate their crafts\interests in anime, manga, video games, cosplay, etc. So, we should not have been surprised some came in costume. Sailor Moon, Jasmine, Spiderman and Deadpool. Ming finally calls everyone together to announce the rules to the battle royal of water guns. Many bought, some made. Very impressive. The rules are there are no rules except you cannot shoot the area of the tent and tables where everyone has their electronic equipment including yours. Hmph. Pretty simple enough. What ensued was a battle royal not ever seen before in the history of man and before. The good thing is you didn't have to figure out who is friend or foe. You had no friends and everyone is your foe. Basically, shoot everyone and everything and let the benevolents figure it out. It was so much fun watching Gabriel B. run around in the sun shooting everyone and everyone shooting him. There was no way to keep score. Chaos was at every turn, twist, spin and no one had a dry face nor a dry shirt, or dry clothes. The second event was very interesting to watch too. For those interested, they were broken into 3 groups provided card board boxes and other material. Their mission: build armor and weapons. Once completed, one person from each team donned the armor bearing the weapons into another battle. All combatants were encircled by spectators to keep them in a restricted area. Either 4 or 5 cups were taped on each combatant. The objective: knock off all the cups on an opponent to eliminate. Last armored person standing wins. This was not a pretty or kind battle. Ruthless comes to mind. The attacks were fast. Many of the blows were vicious and hard. In the end, Deadpool took the honors home. It was great fun to cool off while meeting new people, geeking out, in the hot sun at Ala Moana. Can't wait to do it again.
