Delicious food served in a beautiful setting. The view is fabulous but the food is the main attraction. We enjoyed the shortribs, steak and burgers.

I am visiting from Newport Harbor Lodge and was told how nice the atmosphere was here. These photos speak for themselves. I sat outside next to another table, where a young lady ignored me while chatting with the next table. I had to walk to the bar and ask for a menu and service. The view and food were good. I just don't like being ignored for 15 minutes.

I am so happy to be an ELK! We always have so much fun here and always get Excellent Customer Service. Thank you Chris for EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. You serviced every table in your section with a smile and lightning speed! He was actually jogging. It was amazing to see his body in constant motion!

Elks club still an amazing place for drinks and dining with fabulous views. They make their own beet/vegetarian patties and drinks are not overpriced.

Came here for lunch. Great hospitality and such history of this Waikiki Elks 616, dating back to 1901! Lunch menu has a wide variety of pupu's, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. Garlic shrimp was delicious, chef salt, BLT, clam chowder, vegetarian options from a house-made veggie burger to vegan bowls, were delicious! Brownie sundae and lemongrass crème brûlée are a must. Great tasting Mai tai's too! Service is attentive and friendly, can't wait to go back for dinner!!

    It's beautiful out here!

The Honolulu Elks Lodge is amazing. We've only been Elks a few months now, so this is only the 2nd one we've been in, but completely blown away. Right on Waikiki Beach, the setting could not be any better. If has a wonderful bar area and a lot of very nice tables. We came in for lunch- the service was spot on. They have a great beer selection, a full bar and the food was delicious. So good, it made me think about moving to Honolulu!

This place was phenomenal. Wow! The ocean view. We could not have sat any closer to the water. The cocktails were amazing. And the food was even better. Our server Bryan was on it! He gave us exceptional service. 12/10.

The food at Elks is what you would expect coming from a country club. Not bad, not good, just ok. My pork chops sauce was pretty salty, while my boyfriend's lamb chop sauce was pretty sweet. The seared ahi was good so I would recommend that. Elks restaurant is good for large parties, if you're a member of course, however be aware that they do have events on some days so it can get pretty crowded & also pretty loud. If you're looking for something more intimate I wouldn't recommend Elks, but I do see the appeal if you're a member & are in Waikiki as a tourist.

3 stars for the food, 5 stars for the vibes. I used to come here all the time as a kid, jumping from the pool to hunting for opihi on the little beach and swimming out to the nearby catamarans. From numerous birthday parties to my high school graduation party- they were all held here. I recently came here for lunch with my dad and while the service was great, the food was really not great at all. For pupus we got the sashimi and spicy ahi poke - which was served with sweet potato chips- probably the best dish we had! The fish n' chips on the other hand... the battered fish wasn't crispy at all and the fries were rather sad. I'm a fries girl, and I rarely leave fries on the table - but this time I had 3-5 fries and went "ehh, not worth it". We also had the nicoise salad, the salmon on it was good but the acid level on everything else was too much- olives, cappers, and HUGE pieces of tomato on top of a costco spring mix that I know all too well. The service was amazing though, our server Kelci was so sweet and kept on refilling our waters long after our meal. I hadn't seen my dad in nearly 4 months and we had a lot to catch up with so it was so nice that since it's a club setting that we didn't feel rushed to leave right after our meal. The views were absolutely incredible, nothing beats unobstructed views of the waves. The restaurant has that open air concept so you get that indoor-outdoor feel. Which also means birds fly in and are pretty confident and will try to get your food if you're not super assertive. Tip: Guest parking is now $8 for the day

Elks Club, couldn't ask for a more perfect venue for our College Reunion Gala Banquet! Not knowing exactly how large a banquet room we would need we reserved the larger one. And even though the smaller one could have housed our smaller number, the room ended up being perfect for our group of 50ish. We had enough room to set up a nice reception and sign in area. We had room to have prizes and grab bags in a separate area. There was room for our slide show presentation. And besides the buffet setup and dining tables, we even had room for a hula lesson! Loved that the banquet room, located on the second floor had an extended oceanfront patio for group photos and viewing of the Friday fireworks off the Hilton Hawaiian property across the water. And the food... chosen was a Hawaiian banquet menu which was served in abundance: green salad, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, white rice, laulau, kalua pig, haupia, pineapple with addon to the menu of mahi in butter caper sauce and teriyaki chicken. Was it too much food? Absolutely! Was it memorably delicious? Undeniably. Made even more special by the reunion of old friends.

You can't beat the ambiance here. On a nice day, there's no better place to sit poolside and enjoy a meal. The food and service is okay. The front desk is sometimes great and sometimes ridiculous. I feel like we get harassed sometimes by the lady at the front. It doenst hurt to just be kind sometimes! Other than her, most people there are helpful and kind.

As a child, I remember admiring and wondering who lived in this estate that borders Kapiolani Park…read more It was once known as the Winstead House that was built around the early-1900's. The estate was huge as it included horse stables, garages for horse-drawn carriages (later for automobiles), surrounded by undulating and well-manicured landscaping. The estate once extended from the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Paki Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue, around where Jefferson Elementary now stands. Back in 1992, the house was dedicated to the City and County of Honolulu. During 2003 - 2006, the C&C did a lot of renovation to the property and had a lot of concerns about its maintenance and use. Prior to its dedication by the Winstead descendants and the C&C renovation of this property, the Diamond Head Neighborhood Board held community meetings or gatherings. This property was also used as a backdrop to some local television shows..uh, anyone remember Magnum P.I.? To date, I don't know whether or not they have been permitted to continue using the space as such. Currently, there are offices that occupy its basement area by the Parks & Recreation administrative staff. All I can say is that if I worked in this facility, it would be very difficult to get any work done. I'd be wowed by the cool, gentle breezes, sunny blue skies and close proximity of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. But, that's what makes this property perfect for the Parks & Recreation to own and manage! #306

This was a year ago, I didn't get a chance to until recently. I wanted to check out Sweet Mango's showroom which happens to be at The Pineapple Patio. From what I read, they do pop up events at The Pineapple Patio. The location of The Pineapple Patio is on South King St. right after the pet hospital and Central Pacific Bank. Stay on your far left lane as South King St. is one way. Make a left when you see State Farm Insurance. What I dislike about this place is the parking lot. Parking is very limited and very tight. I had a hard time parking my vehicle and hard time getting out. Once you find parking, you hit the buzzer for your pop up business and someone will come down to open the glass door for you. Walk up the stairs and you will see all the different vendors. During my visit to The Pineapple Patio, I had to pick up my son and was in a rush. I didn't get to browse around to the other vendors. What caught my eyes were all the plant and succulent across of the Sweet Mango's showroom, I wanted to check it out but had to leave right after. I will check it out when I have more time. Sweet Mango's products and showroom is so neat and organized. I loved the pineapple design prints on most of the merchandise, it is so nice and colorful. I had to get a pineapple print Turkish towel in green for me and a towel for my mom for Mother's day. Besides Sweet Mango Hawaii, some of the Vendors at the event were Tidepool Love, Kahulale'a, Aloha Dreamboard, and The Writing Desk.
