We placed a quick lunch order through DoorDash, and the cornbread was extremely hard. Additionally, one of my coworkers only received 4 ribs instead of the usual 6-7 that typically come with the plate. When she called the restaurant to ask if there had been a change in portion size, the interaction was very unpleasant. Before she could fully explain the situation, the owner became immediately aggressive, repeatedly asking, "What's the problem?" and saying, "Get on with your point," without allowing her the opportunity to speak. Having worked in customer service myself, I understand the importance of professionalism and respectful communication--especially with loyal, returning customers. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that standard. It's disappointing to say that, based on this interaction, we will not be returning.

The food doesn't take long to come out at all. When my food did come out it looked quite amazing for it coming from a food truck. My basket had a large amount of tender and juicy ribs soaked in their barbecue sauce. There was a huge amount of there seasoned fries which I got as my side. The taste of it all was phenomenal. Later having being sat down at the kbbq section he proceeded to grill the meat for us and deliver the side dishes, however he deliberately began to rudely toss the dishes which is where I drew the line and exchanged words with him expressing that was not necessary. We did not want him around after that fact. All in all to say the service was not amiable. When I also brought it up to the owners (I presume) it quickly became clear there would be no need to bring it to the waiters attention as he came over looking for confrontation in front of them and other patrons whilst I was voicing my concerns. Very disappointing. On the matter of food we enjoyed the freshness of the vegetable side dishes and the duck meat that was ordered. The acorn jelly was a nice touch as the owner explained how it was made to us. Nonetheless it was not worth going back for.
