Tom sells cars. I spoke with him yesterday Thursday, March 22nd about a nice truck, made…read morearrangements to buy that truck today, on Friday February 23rd. This truck is for our business, myg business partner is out of town and I needed to get money from him to buy the truck. After meeting with Tom and checking out the truck, he agreed to hold it until Saturday morning. At this point everything is great, the truck is a nice deal, we agreed on a price. I just had to get money from my partner. Today on Friday, my partner and I jumped through hoops, ran around and worked out getting the cash to buy the truck. This whole time I was staying in contact with Tom, letting him know that everything was workingv out, fully expecting to be driving a new truck today. @ 12:30 he said he was held up at an auction and would be back between 3&4:00. For a couple hours I got no response. Then at about 4:00 he sends a text message saying that he called his office and someone else had sold it, sorry. (2 days earlier he told me he was a 1 man operation) Horrible business practice, to make an agreement, agree to hold the truck until Saturday. Then sell it to someone else while I was sitting a few miles away with cash just waiting for him to get back.
