The place is pretty cheap rent so I didn't expect much. The building is a lil older but all our neighbors are really nice and everyone keeps to themselves. I've lived here for about a year and have been pretty pleased. I've only had good experiences with management so far. So it by no means is perfect but it's pretty good option. read more

The manager, Shannon, is worthless! We called for 2 weeks and left voicemails to set up a showing and not a single person called back. Finally, we sent an email and someone FINALLY returned our call and we scheduled a showing the following Tuesday. She was supposed to meet us at 2pm for a showing and surprise surprise she never showed up!! We called and called, but she never answered. We left and went back home. I called her again and she finally answered and asked if we could come back. Excuse me? Why the hell would we make an appointment in the first place?! 2pm was the time we could make it and apparently the apartment manager doesn't respect other peoples' time. She asked if we could come back tomorrow then and promised someone would be there. So we went back at 2pm the following day and her caretaker met us. Showed us an apartment that he claimed was going to be vacant in a week because the couple in the apartment had domestic violence issues (not my business). He had us fill out 2 rental applications and told us he would call us as soon as apartment was cleaned and ready to move in. NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE EVER AGAIN! Yep, a place with disrespectful employees! After hearing about the domestic violence disputes from the caretaker and the fact a homicide happened there months prior...we decided to never attempt to get in touch with them again. Steer clear of this place at all costs unless you like people wasting your time!! read more

I have literally never had a worse experience with property management than I have living here. I have lived here 3 and a half years and over that span of time we have had about 4-5 different property mangers. All of which were fine until this recent one Shannon. She has 0 communication. We were towed along with 6 other people around 4 months ago and it wasn't our fault, she never handed out the new parking stickers that the tow company gave her. So not only were me and my boyfriend BOTH late to work, my boyfriend had to find a ride home from work and we had to drive all the way to Shafer, MN to get his car the next day. My boyfriend called her that day and she actually answered (shocker) and said we needed to wait a bit to be reimbursed because she needed to talk to higher management about it. I called her, left voice messages and wrote letters to her constantly (along with a letter each time we paid rent) and still haven't heard back. Around 3 weeks ago my mailbox was jammed and I couldn't get into it. I called her to ask for help because mail is important and bills need to be paid. I still haven't heard back. I have also made calls to Halverson and Blaiser Group who owns the building and I haven't heard back. Today I jammed my key in it and forced it open almost breaking my key because I was so frustrated and inside was a letter from the post office that our mailbox was full and that they sent our mail back to the post office and we only had 10 days to claim it before it would be sent back to sender. Of course that time now is expired and all of our mail is gone. I am beyond frustrated. Luckily, we are moving out on March 31st. I am a very nice, and patient person but this is ridiculous. I just wanted to give a fair warning to anyone looking to move in here that it is not worth it. Quite a few people have been moving out because of lack of communication with her as well. Find somewhere else to call home, because "home" shouldn't bring you this much stress. read more
