Seem to have more of the normal people brands (ie affordable one) like Deron, Baby Phat, Coogi, Sean Jon, Wrangler, Just My Size, etc. Also saw some Guess, Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Betsy Johnson in the purses. Libbey, Imusa, KitchenAid, Oster, Thermos, Black & Decker .... etc etc The managers are all really nice and the employees look like they actually like working there unlike the other stores around them where everyone looks miserable.

I decided to pop into the local Grocery Outlet and have a looksie at what was on sale. Each one is locally owned so they tend to have different items. It makes it fun to go in and see what weird or interesting stuff you might find. Sometimes there are insane deals. Like 5 bags of snack cheese for $1! Yes I said it! Snack cheese for on the go yummy 5 bags for $1!!!! This GO is one of the better ones I've been to in terms of cleanliness and being orderly. They also had friendly staff which is a new thing for me. I can't get mad at my local GO's staff for being a bit rough, they have to throw out homeless people and drug addicts every single day. Anyway, the staff here were very nice and greeted me. They even asked if I liked the store and if it was my first time in it. They seemed to actually care! I wish I could have had more of that frozen food aisle but because I am working it was a no go. I did pick up a lot of Bang energy drinks for 99! Yay! At my local GO they were $1.99 so what a win! One of the flavors is "purple kiddles " which is cryptic and nonsensical to me...so I know I'm in for a treat! The beer selection didn't get my motor running but they had a sizable wine assortment. They also had the hard stuff but I didn't take the time for all that. My heart belongs to my Whistle Pig at the moment so... the heart wants what it wants! In all a fun way to spend a little time... that is if you're into deals and hunting around. Also if you're into weird products... just don't wait around... snap up what you want because like most things, it won't be waiting around forever! Personally, I like to leave my phone in the car and just take some me time without everyone calling me to just enjoy the inexpensive experience. We went on a Thursday around 9:00 am and it was already rocking. There is a small parking lot in front. We were lucky that someone was pulling out and got a perfect spot. There are booths all around the lot and a mixture of new and used goods. You will find tons of really cute clothes, housewares, tools, furniture and small & large appliances. We went into almost every booth. It was a fun, we got exercise and we were able to get a pair of work gloves (me), some CD-R's, and a cute work light for my husband (though I doubt he'd call it cute ;). It is magnetic, hangs and stands on all sides. We will definitely go back again. I do recommend going if you are in the area. It's a good time and we found some great items.

This Aldi is much better than the one in El Centro. Vegetables and fruits were fresh and plentiful, very nice looking meat and lots of product in the clearance/miscellaneous aisle. The checkers are very friendly and polite. As with anything in Calexico it will be much easier to interact and ask questions if you are speaking Spanish. For English only speakers there is usually someone around who can assist. Very nice store!
