Today I bought some beautiful pumpkins and plan on returning later this week to get some mums for my fall decorations. Honey Bee Farms was there today giving away samples and educating people about local raw honey. A small business supporting another! Fortunately, Gerych's had availability for our date on short order! It was more expensive than we had anticipated, but they were willing to work with me when I asked about cutting costs where we could. While I was initially concerned that the bouquets didn't look like the inspiration I sent, I quickly realized that they were possibly even better. I felt confident that they could deliver on my request for the $78.90 that I gave them. The bouquet arrived on the scheduled arrival day. But what arrived was very different from what I requested. It was a funeral-themed bouquet of white roses, unopened garish fuschia lillies, and an assortment of flowers at various stages of death and decay. I understand if their supplies were stretched thin over the holiday, but then they shouldn't have taken my order or told me they could deliver. They said that they would call me back and make things right. A week later, this is still unresolved. I'm in the process of getting some different flowers for my mom to make up for this. Huge disappointment.

We're both huge DIY furniture flip types, and rehabbing and painting (or just sprucing it up) old antiques and worn out furniture kinda is our thing now.. lol..if you're a "Flea Market Flip" or "Shabby Chic" type of fan, the restoration style of the merchandise here might be your thing. I know I was a kid in a candy store after finding this little retail gem.. and I didn't even know it was here. If you like country core aesthetic, rustic/modern, shabby chic or farmhouse design, you might like the stuff they have here. It's a little store yet there's a lot to see.. Prices were pretty moderate and the selection is quite varied, with great customer service (which is difficult to come by in the world of retail). I'll definitely shop here again.
