I would have to agree with a prior review and say that although their are pros to this establishment, there are also cons. I lost my job and was going through an extremely difficult financial situation and had asked for an early cancellation of the last month of my contract without a charge or fee but I still had to end up paying for my full term. I know I was asking for a favor and I know that a contract is a contract but there are also certain times when empathy should play a part in business. At the end of the day, we are people taking care of people. A piece of advice for those who are going to try this studio for the first time... you will go through the first workout and it will be exciting and challenging and then while you are going through your little workout high after the session, you are offered membership deals. Which is obviously the point of the first class being free, but beware of your workout high blinding you from signing a contract or committing to something after having only tried it once. I will say the workouts are quick and effective and Mark (the owner) clearly cares about your experience when you are in there. read more

9round is under new ownership! I was so happy to hear this and that they have the excellent trainers back. I love working out there, it's quick, super effective and you get to hit stuff! I highly recommend, if you left due to the old guard, go back. I signed up for a Yelp account just so that I could write this review. I was very much looking forward to working out at 9Round and was eager to try kickboxing for the first time. Unfortunately the owner, Mark, is one of the rudest human beings I have ever been around. He knows nothing about customer service or motivating clients, instead he is condescending and borderline offensive. I had several experiences with him where I actually had to ask myself "did he really just say that?". I have heard from others as well that they were stunned by his behavior and some of the things he said. It's a real shame, the workout is fantastic. If I ever see an "Under New Management" sign in their window I will sign up again. read more

The owner of 9 Round is an unethical business man. I took one class signed a contract but had to break it due to an injury. I got charged for a full month and and had to pay $150 penalty fee for canceling contract. The total was $279 for one class. I would advise to stay away from this business. read more
