The entire staff creates a welcoming environment and the classes provide the right balance between pushing your limits and making sure that you are comfortable. Outsiders may think that training along side actual pros would be intimidating, but the pros are always welcoming and provide great inspiration for average joes like myself. In addition, their partnership with Autism Spectrum Mandate (highlighted recently by CBS 3 News), speaks volumes about the character of the staff at TKO Fitness. After the trial period and going to Caitlin's class, I HAD to sign up! She by far is one the best trainers there and her classes are perfect as far as the time goes (7pm, Tuesday & Thursday). She was personable, friendly, motivating, encouraging which are all of the attributes of a good trainer. Did I mention that she still kicks butt? She challenges you to challenge yourself. Love her. I bought a 10-class groupon because the gym is close to my work, and I am so happy I did. I had tried kickboxing at other places, but this is 100x better than other classes I had tried. Rob is the instructor for cardio kickboxing and he is always super positive AND easy on the eyes! He really motivates you to work hard and get a good workout, even when I'm tired and really would rather be home. I really like that you actually learn the mechanics of kickboxing in a cardio class, other classes I've been to teach no footwork or how to punch/kick. I feel like I could be an MMA fighter now, after only a few classes - that may be a pipe dream, but I'm still really enjoying myself. Last month, a group of friends lost one of our best friends under tragic circumstances. Lost,…read moredevastated, and slightly intoxicated, we attended a private class at Pure Barre as a memorial to our friend who has passed away and had been dedicated to barre classes for the past few years. Another friend booked this group class for about 20 of us as a way to come together, remember our friend, and get some exercise. It was a remarkable experience. Our instructor, Alexis, was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better person on that day. She was patient and supportive and created the exact environment we needed. We laughed and cried, and our muscles burned! It was a great workout and Alexis was so helpful with most of us being beginners. Everyone at Pure Barre was great, allowing flexibility with scheduling and just generally being so kind. But what really meant the most was that they donated the proceeds from our private session to a multiple sclerosis foundation that was dear to our friend. I cannot say enough about Pure Barre Haddonfield- Alexis and everyone else was amazing and helped bring some joy during an extremely difficult time. If I lived in the area, I would love to be a regular at this studio. I can't say enough about their kindness and generosity.

I was into sports…read moregrowing up and missed that camaraderie, but mostly powerlifted on my own with my headphones and RBF. But at one point I realized I needed coaching to move to the next level so I decided to give it a try at Hygge, and it was one of the most meaningful and fantastic decisions I've ever made (no kidding). I lost 10lbs (8% of my body weight), 4.4% body fat, my arms and legs are muscular, and I saw an ab for one second before I ate some cake so I have to work on that but the whole physique thing is coming along nicely. I feel stronger than I ever have, I rehabbed a shoulder injury easily, and am more capable of carrying heavy things, lifting whatever without much effort. Training at Hygge has given me a control over my movement that I'd never experienced before. The facilities are amazing, the coaching is amazing (at all three locations) Lifting cycles are well planned, goals are measured, and you are able to track and see your progress easily. They offer a TON of classes as compared to other boxes, and the caliber of instruction and training is unmatched in my experience (I've done some drop ins, literally had a coach compliment my form AND the scale I chose as he had never considered it before -- directly stolen from what we did last week at Hygge). Your body and life will change, you will make some friends, you will all become better together and you'll feel awesome. I am a convert for life because of this gym and these coaches. If you have doubts go in. These guys care so much about what they do and you as an individual. You do not have to be fit to start.
