My daughter's Nissan cube had the steering wheel lock go out which disabled the starting system when she was trying to head back to Toledo after the Christmas/New Year's holidays. She couldn't get into the local Nissan dealer for two weeks due to Covid. After speaking to A1, we had the car towed to A1 and they were able to work it in the next day, repair the steering lock so that the starter would engage, and had her back on her way home. read more

The only issue I ran into with these guys was I was told it would be done by noon and the service wasn't completed until 5 pm. Other then that great customer service and they care enough for their customer to drive it around the block to make sure the problem was resolved. read more

I was on my way from Columbus to Toledo area driving my wife's vehicle that I was trading in for a new one. When I got to Findlay, a large rattling noise started blaring from underneath the vehicle. Pulled over, nothing dragging on ground. Couldn't figure it out and continued driving. Noise still was coming from underneath. Was seriously concerned about safety of car/driving. Stopped in Findlay and frantically called local mechanics pleading for help. After about 7 phone calls, A1 Autocare was kind enough to take a quick look at it despite how full they already were working on vehicles. The owner was very kind in helping me solve the issue (rusted splash guard underneath that came loose on top of drivetrain) and charged far less than he deserved. I tried to pay him more but he declined. I cannot thank this kind man enough. In these tough and challenging times, they could have easy said no. They could have continued about their day and focused on their "normal" clients needs. But they didn't. I am forever grateful and know from firsthand experience that Dave is an awesome person to be so kind to take time out of his normal day to help someone he's never met.
