The day we picked it up the brakes starting going out on the way home and we discovered a brake line had been broke. Took the truck back and they said they didn't do it. Now, don't get me wrong, dad's truck was getting old, but when you have the brake line go out on you on your back from the service station, something just doesn't seem right. The owner started getting all mad at my father, (which not to brag, but is one of the most honest guys I know) at which point I stepped into the conversation explaining that yes, the truck was old, but the line JUST got broke? (and know, I wasn't even yelling lol) After being yelled at and having a finger pointed in my face, we decided it was time to leave. We talked about upgrading the clutch since the standard Ford clutch lasted only 28,000 miles. He gave me his recommendation on an aftermarket clutch which he stated he had installed on other Shelby GT 500.
