I'm very disappointed in the workmanship. A-1 Clayton, OH was at my house to do the initial work and another time to perform rework after reviewing the job and agreeing they should have done better initially. They showed up to do the repair while I was at work with 15 minute notice and when I got home I observed nothing different except filler in the saw cuts to "soften" the misalignment. My sidewalk is still not level and still has twist. My opinion is a few more drilled holes and foam would have resolved the workmanship issues they agreed existed. If quality and workmanship matter to you find another solution to your problem. read more

Great job! Our front walkway and large steps had fallen almost 3 inches and created a large crack and several unsafe trip hazards. They fixed everything in about an hour and were very friendly. The original estimate was given in 2023, and they stood by that price in 2025! read more

We had a carport slab that was cracked and falling away, a covered patio slab that was starting to do the same, a sidewalk between a detached garage and shed that had settled to the point of ridiculousness, and 1-year old front steps that had settled because of a different contractor's poor skills. Greg and Tanner worked and corrected all the issues with patience and professionalism until I was satisfied with the results. Nate and Tanner came this morning to raise a section of my driveway. What a great job they did, and cleaned up afterwards! Two very professional and pleasant individuals. I was interested to see how this process is conducted and was allowed to watch it from start to finish. An added bonus was the fact that this was done at a fraction of the cost it would have taken me to replace the sunken area. I had crunched the cost of replacement verses raising this section. The price was 1/4 of what it would have cost me to replace that section, and that would have been me doing the work, at which I have no experience. With just one phone call, A-1 came out very quickly to assess my situation (I have an HVAC duct that collapsed in my slab due to a previous leveling job that wasn't performed correctly and was accomplished by a company that is no longer in business). Unfortunately, that's an issue that can't be solved by additional concrete leveling. However, the A-1 rep was very friendly, professional, and even helpful in that he presented me with some very good ideas on just who and how my problem could be solved. Greg L. and Nate did a beautiful job in filling the voids under our porch, sidewalk, and driveway. I researched several competitors, and received three bids on our job, and we are so glad we chose Greg at A-1. I had hired them years ago for a sidewalk leveling when we still lived in Huber Heights. Now we're in Lebanon and I reached out to him on the off-chance he covered our area down here, too. He came in person to size up the job, discussed the options to fix the problems (voids under the concrete were threatening to collapse parts of our driveway, sidewalk, and porch) and he advised us on how to prevent a recurrence in future.
