Door frames with rot were noted but walls attached to the door were completly rotted as well and not even attached to the floor, The whole wall could be moved 6 inches before the door was even removed. Ive spent over 3k on elecrrical cause of wiring ground issues that even my elecrrician said should have been found. Im having to buy a water pressure booster and water pressure is something that should be checked. Simple things like the toilet doesnt work/flush and a shower faucet that fell off in our hand on day 1. Shower that has no sealant around the surround. We also received a binder to put our inspection report in with an informational booklet, which was a nice plus. I just reviewed the inspection report this morning and it was very detailed, had good photos, and was easy to understand. He also went over everything with us in person and showed us each issue, explained how it could have happened, and how to prevent it from worsening. He had valuable insight about upcoming repairs that we hadn't even noticed and provided great advice for preventing future damage. Not to mention the fact that he got us scheduled in less than a week and was able to work with us so that we would be able to attend. After his inspection we feel much more confident about the home we are in the process of buying. We would definitely recommend Chris for your next inspector!

Had my home inspected by this company. I was selling home and buyer used them. House 2 years old…read more 1.They said Master Bath shower doors would not keep water in. It was designed as a wet room. They didnt consider. 2. Flower boxes need to be flashed. Im not making this stuff up. 3. A faint scratch on ceiling was called a drywall repair. 4. Pergola didnt have to be flashed or gutters installed. He failed for both! Not making this up! 5. Faucet was loose on tub. Turned 1/2 turn tight now! 6. Builder poured direct contact with earth posts into concrete. Failed this as the wood can not touch earth! Again not making this up! Building dept passed home! He found 27 violations that shows either the Building Dept. Incompetent or he knows more than the chief building inspector! He commented on so many items my buyer backed out. Which caused us to lose thousands of dollars and my wife's dream home. I do not know why this inspection went to extremes but if they come to your home and they are inspecting for the buyer ask them kindly to leave and tell buyers anyone but this company! I called this company and they said lots of problems with the builder in this subdivision. Maybe he should be Chief Building Inspector as his knowledge is just vastly more superior than the chief building inspector. Also , FYI I was Florida State Building Inspector in Construction all my life. This home inspector has a lot to learn and to not make up ridiculous items according to his whims.
