    Don't be fooled by the ratings like I was, it may have been "good" before but not anymore…read more Let's start off with the location. The GPS says one thing and it's not there. It would have been nice if they would have mention that it's above the West Marine and that the stairs are on the right of it. It also sucked that I was calling and calling to ask them for directions and they didn't pick up the phone. I called 4 times and it just rang and rang. I managed to find the place and I even called them as I waited in the waiting room and just as I expected, the phones didn't ring. They had the volumes taken off which is a nice trick to not take care of customers on the phone. I was the ONLY client there, so it's not like they were busy taking care of anyone or the phones. And yes, it was the correct number because it was the one I originally used to make my appointment. SERVICE: I've never met such lifeless people at a front desk. I know service went to crap after the pandemic but this was something else. No one smiles and no one looks at you in the eyes. I waited quite some time for the doctor to come in to see me. I was the ONLY client there and I saw him on his phone (cell not work phone) while I passed his office. So why the insane wait time? I waited 45mins siting in the lobby before I was called in, and again... I was the ONLY client there. You can tell when people don't really care about the business. This probably wasn't his business so not much skin in the game (pun intended). The consultation was pretty efficient, that's the only thing I liked. DECOR: The inside was small and awkward. There was a nice view in the room I was waiting in for the doctor. The outside made me anxious to go inside. SUMMARY: I could have the same things done elsewhere, I'm not sure I'd come here again.

    "Cancelled my surgery with less than 24 hours notice -- after a month of preparation"…read moreI had a procedure scheduled for a Friday morning and received a cancellation call less than 24 hours before. The reason given was that my last in-person consultation was 10 months ago. That is information this office had access to from the moment I booked -- a full month prior. In that month, I checked in with the office weekly with preparation questions and received zero indication that anything was wrong with my eligibility. I filled a prescription they required me to have. I took a Friday off work. I cancelled my gym membership for the recovery period. And because you cannot drive yourself home after this procedure, I spent two weeks working through my small circle of friends -- all small business owners -- to find someone willing to rearrange their schedule to drive me. That's a 2.5 hour round trip for a 90 minute procedure. Their schedules were now affected too. The week before the surgery I called the office with a question about an additional treatment, and I could clearly hear the doctor in the background audibly prompting his receptionist on what to say to me. This office had every single piece of information needed to identify this supposed eligibility issue weeks ago -- and said nothing. Not during my weekly calls, not when I confirmed my prescription, not at any point. Instead they let me complete the full logistical and emotional preparation for surgery, which is not a trivial thing for someone who doesn't undergo procedures regularly, and cancelled at the last possible moment. No meaningful accountability. No effort to make it right. I'll be going elsewhere and I'd encourage you to think carefully before investing your time, energy, and trust here.

Once you get out of the regular waiting room, there's a SECOND waiting room for you to wait in. And all of this for a literal 5 minute appointment with the doctor... There is such little parking and overall, just a frustrating experience coming here. I decided I should after I saw that 2 reviews were flagged not recommended. I visited the 2nd office Dr Jany Sanchez in the Kendall area, off Bird rd. Dr. Sanchez shares this office. She is in this office only on Tuesday & Thursdays. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told the last appointment of the day was at 3pm. I took that appointment because I work full time. I arrived on time after having difficulties finding parking. Once I checked in at the widow by a not so welcoming employee, I noticed that the glass windows are covered in messages. There was a sign that said if you wrote a good review, you will be given a free product. Another sign warned you about the parking situation, that if you didn't park in a spot, your car would be towed at your expense. Another sign said, 1 procedure or treatment per appointment. Lastly the sign said payment must be made after services rendered. I went back to the window and asked about the parking because I was concerned that I would walk out and not find my car. The Employee assured me it would be ok. I waited for 2 hours after my scheduled time. Finally, I got called in and I had to pay for the visit even though I hadn't even seen Dr. Sanchez. I asked the employee at the front, are you charging me the office visit or the contracted amount. She answered yes, the contracted amount. I "trusted her". I was escorted to a room to wait for Dr. Sanchez. When she arrived, she asked me for the reason for my visit. I told her I was there for a full body check. She asked me to take my blouse off and stayed in my camisole. She didn't hand me a gown; she didn't ask me to take my pants off. She looked a mole and said, I'm going to remove it but not to say anything in the front because it would be considered a 2nd treatment/procedure. She said that all she would charge me would be for the shot she had to administer. After she finished, she prescribed me a cream to pick up at my nearby CVS. I checked out at the front desk and paid an additional $65 for the shot. You would think this was the end of my visit. When Dr Sanchez office submitted the claim, I received an explanation of benefits letter. This letter explained what services the office conducted and what the insurance covered and what was deemed my responsibility. When I looked over my responsibility, I noticed immediately that I had overpaid. I called the office and explained all of this and the lady spoke to me in Spanish and said yes, we owe you a refund check and we will put it in the mail. I said roughly how long does it take because my concern is getting lost in the mail. She said a few days because its local. I said ok. I had completely forgotten about it and realized 3 months had passed. I called the office again and she said we are closed for 2 weeks please call back on the 17th. I had forgotten again, so I called yet again, the lady who answered said I told you we have been closed for 2 weeks. I responded that's what you said 2 weeks ago. It has been 7 months since my visit and still no answer from anyone I informed my insurance and they are "trying" to help me also. I thought as a dermatologist Dr. Sanchez is ok but just because of the people she has hired to run the office, I won't be back to see her.
