The children are well cared for in all imaginable ways and the staff are always willing to listen and have wonderful solutions for any parenting issue. Safety was the first priority, but so was enrichment, A setting where she would be challenged, and would continue to grow academically and socially. I wanted her to be engaged and challenged. TLE provides all that and more. Their child centered curriculum is motivating and fun for kids. Most importantly, it is kid appropriate. It includes technology based but also workbook centered and hands on experiences. They even added a musical component to their curriculum. Everything is taught with fun, relatable characters that continues to each grade level for a thematic approach. Also, this school is spotless. Every time I enter that school, it just smells clean. It is obvious that things are routinely sanitized. In times, like these, cleanliness is key. In each other the 3 rooms my daughter has been in, toys are organized and labeled. Everything has its place. As a bonus, my daughter is taught to always put away toys/activities when she is done playing. Also, the owner, Jo-Ann, the director, Amanda and the assistant director, Christina are just really wonderful people. They are kind, warm and welcoming. They are effective at not only making each family/child feel welcome, but also in running an organized, efficient school. Any and all of my questions are always addressed with patience and real solutions. The teachers there also have greatly influenced my daughter. Two in particular, Ms. Cheyenne and Ms. Olivia, really influenced her. She looked forward to seeing them because they truly took the time to not only make her feel special, but also to provide consistent guidance and educational support. Finally, TLE has a lot of philanthropic endeavors. They raise awareness about both health and social issues that effect our community as well as the world. From food drives, book collections, healthy heart awareness and even holiday gifts for families in need, this school teaches children to give back. This is a very important concept that both myself and my husband teach our daughter about. It is wonderful to have her school do the same. After all, in a world where you can be anything, we should really all be kind. I can not say enough nice things about the school and the actual company Itself. I looked at over 5 different daycares in our area before registering here. I did the random drop inns, asked the important questions and really observed what was going on before selecting a school. Coming from the mental health field, Children's Safe Stay provides an emotionally intelligent and safe environment for children to not only play but learn as well. Unless they're higher than everyone else in the area. For anyone wondering, this daycare is literally on Main Street. Kind of scary seeing as there are a ton of cars driving less than 20 feet from where children are playing. And why risk it when there are a bunch of other daycares in the area who were friendly and more than willing to answer my questions (and give me rates).

They do not provide protection for your kid. I literally witnessed a big kid run over to my daughter when she was less than 2 and shoved her unto the ground. I stepped in and asked WTH is this? Young "teacher" stated "oh he has a pushing problem but we're working with him" She proceeded to tell him "name-removed, don't push... thank you" as she has her back to him and he is still standing there waiting for me to step out so he can do it again!!! This past week, not an hour after dropping her off, I'm called because she has TWO scratches on her cheek from her nose back past her eyes. I'm told the same "teacher" went to grab her when my daughter was under a table and scratched her face! I have tried to simulate this several times! its no possible unless you're used to handling toddlers by their face from behind!!! Both administrators could also not explain it to me when I ran back to pick her up! They stated "will will work with the teacher!" ???????? are you kidding me? no one's child is here to TRAIN YOUR TEACHERS! that is what they should already know!!! Needless to say I took her out this week!

Being first-time parents and in the current world that we live in, we were very nervous sending our…read morebaby girl Jordan to daycare. We tried to take care of our newborn while working from home, but it was virtually impossible to juggle both and give Jordan her due attention and care, so we decided to enroll her in Little Red Birds after being recommended from a family friend. Needless to say, it was the best decision ever. The very first week was honestly very challenging as a parent dropping off my baby at daycare. She cried and clutched on to my legs those first few mornings when I dropped her off. To be fair, that was expected as our daughter was put in a new environment with people she never met. But much to my surprise, she quickly adjusted to daycare after just 1 week and now love going there. I have heard from friends how it took their kids 3-4 weeks to get adjusted to daycare so the fact that it only took Jordan 1 week says a lot. We appreciate the strict health and sanitation practices that Niara does including wearing a mask, taking our temperatures every morning, and putting on a new pair of disposable gloves every time to change our baby's diaper. This gives us peace of mind that the children's health is very much a priority. We love the very personalized attention that Niara gives our daughter that we would not get at larger daycares. Due to this, Niara has helped Jordan (and our lives) in so many facets: Physical development: Jordan has learned to hold her own bottle and sippy cup. She has improved her hand dexterity to grasp and eat solid snacks, use her thumbs to turn the pages of books, as well as improved balance and walking with a walker unassisted. Jordan also loves to clap and bob up and down excitedly to kids songs like "Baby Shark". Arts and crafts has also helped our baby girl with sensory and motor skills (see the beautiful Father's Day art project!). Feeding: While we struggled for months getting Jordan to drink her milk/formula at home, Niara was able to get our baby to drink her bottle at daycare and it has transitioned very well back home as well. She's now drinking her bottle better than ever as we used to have daily frustrating fights with her bottle intake. Jordan is also taking in her protein and fruit solids really well now too and her much needed weight gain and plumper self makes us really happy. Sleeping: Jordan has learned to sleep on her own now. It did take a short period for that to transition at home, but she is doing great with it now and it has freed up more time for us to get other home errands done and afforded us more rest time as well. Comprehension: The daily circle time with learning letters, colors, facial parts and reading books sure has improved Jordan's understanding of many basic words. She can also repeat papa regularly and sometimes mama occasionally. When I ask her to hand me a toy in her hand, she understands and will hand it to me right away. It's also exciting that Niara also teaches sign language to further assist with the communication between student and teacher. Activities: Niara has also taken the kids on occasional fields trips which includes the local spray park, the zoo and the aquarium! We love that our baby Jordan can go out, explore and experience things in real life and not just see things in books. This is such a huge huge plus and we greatly appreciate and willingly provide the extra funds for her to enjoy these exploration trips! All in all, my wife and I greatly appreciate everything Niara provides and has done for our baby girl. She has improved Jordan's life in so many areas and in turn improved our family's overall well-being and happiness. We cannot recommend Niara and Little Red Birds enough as a great daycare.

I was wrong! Ms. Niara is so loving and nurturing and made me feel so comfortable leaving my child in her care. Not only that, my son has grown so much and is an active and kind toddler. He can identify animals, shapes, colors. He knows his alphabets and numbers. He completes age-appropriate puzzles and plays well with others. I couldn't be more grateful to Little Red Birds and Ms. Niara for all she's done for my son.
