I don't think Michael is inexpensive, but I do think he is fair. To give you an idea, he estimated to repad and recover an antique rocker bottom (his leather) would cost $150, but when I went to write the check, he said it would be $85. He said it didn't take as much time as he thought it would. How is that for fair?! Michael is extremely nice and will tell you upfront if he can do the job and what it will cost. He gets it back as fast as he can. I used to go to Dixie, which Charlie owned. After that wonderful shop closed, I had no one. I am so glad I found Thompson's Upholstery.

A lot of shops try to pressure you into buying unnecessary services or parts but not these guys. They give you the run down and options of what will be best for your car and yourself. I've came to them for coilover installation, replacing brake pads and fabricating parts for my car. Each experience has been phenomenal and I've left without a headache. We were selling our house and after the home inspection we were told to replace 4 outlets to current GFI. We had the outlets replaced by my brother in law (dude is knowledgeable). After verifying by the Electrical Pro turned out that my brother in law missed a small step, so they couldn't warranty work was done. Kudos to them and that was a fair statement. Using our new outlets and correcting the missing steps, work was done in about 2h and 15 minutes. Got charged $1000 bucks. I called a bunch of other places and price range was between $175-250 per hour, we got charged $500/h.
