I haven't ever seen a queue in here, mainly because i tend only to go at night. There is also a place where you can get trade prices and offers for businesses too. There is a big car park, with plenty of room for everyone! There is a time limit though, so don't overstay your welcome!

It is a family owned / run store which lends it a slighlty nostalgic feel but unlike some family business' it doesn't feel redundant and still has plenty of useful and good quality products on offer. As with any shop they do stock some lower priced and lower quality goods which I have had problems with in the past but this isn't there fault as you get what you pay for and there custmer service has always been very good if something has gone wrong. They sell a good range of tools, small electrical appliances, camping gear, batteries, garden equipment and normally have what I'm looking for.

The shop is a bit bigger than you think, but still small and because they have such a lot of stuff you may need to be a bit careful with any bags and I think pushchair/wheel chair users would really struggle. Anyone who makes jams, chutneys or things like that will be very happy as they carry a range of kilner jars and bottles including the replacement seals. The people behind the counter have always been very helpful with any questions that I've had and are to be commended. Parking is available on the street at meters.

The Handyman has been about the most useful shop to me in Tewkesbury that there is as it stocks…read moremost things you could need for most DIY projects and the staff are always willing to offer help and advice if you ask for it. The building was quite badly damaged in the floods a couple of years ago but as a consequence they were able to start again and re-open with a new shop and a really well laid out shop floor. The prices can be a bit on the steep side for some items but there again it probably isn't much more than the larger DIY chains and if you get a trade account you can save 10% straight away. Highly recommended!
