Service has deteriorated over the past few years…read more Gutter cleaning: For years, they used to clean the gutters and remove the debris. Then they began cleaning the gutters and leaving the debris in a yard waste bag. Last year, they cleaned the gutters and dumped the debris in the street in front of the house, completely against city ordinances. Subsequently, I have also discovered that several gutter hangers have been damaged. Snow removal: They have always shoveled the snow in a prompt and timely manner, however, they used to use the plow only with deep and heavy snowfalls. Unfortunately, for the past few years, they have begun using the plow for ALL snowfalls, damaging the gate when they hit it with the plow, gouging and chipping the concrete unnecessarily, and tearing up sod when they ram the plow over the lawn. I have photos of the plow being used with such a light snowfall last year, it was barely 1 inch, that large areas of the driveway are actually free of snow. Ironically, it was with this light snowfall, where it was completely obvious where the concrete stops and the lawn begins, that the most damage was done to the lawn. It took multiple phone calls over the course of a month, none of which were returned, to have them come out and "repair" the sod. And the "repair" was done quite poorly. Only the larger pieces of torn up sod were removed...leaving the remainder to grow back into the existing lawn, creating lumps and bumps impossible to mow. The bare spots had some dirt tossed over them...NOT tamped down or leveled with the existing soil, with some grass seed unevenly scattered over it. Destroyed healthy sod replaced with sparse seeds...how wonderful. And since they failed to return my calls and just showed up without notice, the deep ruts in the lawn from the plow tires driving over the grass, and which are only noticeable when you stumble in them, were ignored. The grass seeds have since sprouted and are in no way similar to the existing grass, either in color or in growth rate. I am sick and tired and paying good money for services from "experts" only to have to spend more money, time and effort to repair the damage they cause. I will be looking elsewhere for gutter cleaning and snow plowing services in the future. I suggest you do the same.
