Moises (the owner) was very friendly and responsive. However, after a couple of months, a few trees (4 to be specific) and bushes (at least 5) appeared to be dying (losing leaves, turning brown). I contacted Moises with pictures and was concerned. I wanted to try to take preventative measures to try to salvage as many as possible. Moises told me from the beginning to make sure to water them plenty which I made sure to do (and we had a pretty wet spring as well). Every time I contacted him, he told me he would "stop by" to take a look. This happened at least four four times throughout a span of 2 months. Unfortunately, Moises never did stop by and even told me "he was too busy" as an excuse. I was told initially that he offered a one year warranty on all his plantings. Unfortunately this does not appear to be true. I honestly wish and wanted everything to work out, or at least for Moises to make even a small attempt to help. I spent a lot of money on this project. My lesson learned is to use a large, established landscaping company going forward that will honor their warranty. Moises really seems like a nice person, but I cannot recommend them at all bases upon my experience. To add insult to injury, I now I have to pay another landscaper to pull and remove the dead trees and bushes.

We met with Jesus, the owner, twice, before work even started and he came by daily to check on the progress of our project. We also met with Elizabeth, a co-owner, as work was progressing. Both Jesus and Elizabeth had wonderful ideas for us to consider. Their company built a brick stairway leading from the side of our driveway and up into the planting area at the front of our house. It is exactly what we had in mind, and looks amazing. We also needed some bricks replace/repaired, and their workmanship was excellent. Lastly, they brought in soil and mulch, and planted a number of plants. All work was completed in a timely manner, and their workers were always on-time, and clearly had pride in their work. We truly enjoy our new front and side area, and will use Brothers & Sons for any future projects.

I did my due diligence and got proposals from 4 companies, but in my opinion no one else offered the creativity and attention to detail that was evident in B&S's proposal. As of this week, when I had to have my lawn aerated because most of the sod they laid had died, I can say this was the worst sod job I have seen (of 5 that I have done over 40 years).
