There was very little room for error and the Mitchell Tree & Stump Service, Inc. did a fantastic job. I've used them several times before and they never let me down. Eugenio Cruz and his team showed up at 9 a.m. and were finished by 2 p.m., with an hour lunch break in between. They not only took down the 4 trees but also pruned another tree in the backyard, grounded up branch debris, hauled off numerous tree logs, and grinded the stumps into sawdust. We had a beautiful, maybe 100-yr old swamp maple tree in the front yard. On his last annual visit, Ken said it was okay although leaning a bit toward our house. Then he took a closer look, moved plants around the trunk and saw its roots. "It's dying. The roots at the surface indicate it's searching for oxygen." He and his crew (truly a well-oiled machine as another reviewer said) came out and spent 5-6 hrs. cutting it down without damaging any plants in my heavily planted yard - amazing! He's an aerial acrobat in the bucket and the ground crew's rope work was flawless. All limbs and leaves were taken away. Ken also has a Ph.D. in Botany so his knowledge of trees far exceeds that of other tree service personnel. Would give him 10 stars if we could.

We have a tree on our propriety line that the branches where touching our house that we have been TRYING to get taken care of for months. We had 5 - yes I said 5 OTHER tree companies out to give us estimates; another 2 never showed for the estimate. Two of which had true ripping you off prices. We scheduled the work with 3 other companies once in May, July, and September - non of which showed up to do the work. The Estimate. I had stopped the workers coming home from the store and asked if they could give me an estimate. They had me call the office and I talked to Jason who said he would be by in about 45 mins. Shortly after I got off the phone with Jason the workers stopped by to follow up with me on their way to lunch. Jason showed up about 15 mins earlier than he said which is was awesome. Took a look at the work and gave me a great price - Schedule me the same day since they were already int he neighborhood and the crew came back a few hours later. The Crew. These guys were awesome! First, they have some crazy amazing skills at backing the chipper and dump truck into a very tight space. They were quick, thorough, and left the work area cleaner than they found it.
