A&S Financial is run by Claudia Storms aka Shelley Rach, Barbara Fara, secretary and Michael Rach, ceo. Taxes are prepared in a manner to keep returns high based on fraudulent claims. The customer is never told what measures are taken to obtain the high return. Once the IRS is involved these cowards refuse to address the Audit issues and refuse to address BBB complaints, etc... In 2018 many of the companies customers were audited by the IRS due to the fraudulent nature that the taxes were prepared. Many people lost thousands of dollars. They now claimed to be closed. Running from their past and numerous reviews that expose them for what they are. They are in fact open and schedule appts online. Don't let these criminals hurt anyone else. Absolutely terrible, terrible, terrible!!! I have been audited twice in the last 8 months for a total of over $6,000. As the initial return is nice don't let it fool you because the IRS will be coming back to collect with interest. I have tried contacting A&S multiple times when i received the first audit. I never got a return phone call nor did i get a return email after multiple attempts to contact them. This business is practically criminal. I should have realized this when i walked into this run down house with cats and cigarettes everywhere. If you think it is to good to be true then it probably is. I would not even give these people a one star rating!!!! They are horrible. Was audited for 2015 (my first year using them) and they did even more shady stuff with the adjustment - a deduction for Property Rental Expenses which I don't even have rental property - WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE of what they did. They are really a bunch of sleazy people who make your life a living hell! I'm now being audited for 2016 and they have never returned a phone call or email response plus I'm still trying to fix the mess from 2015! I am filing a complaint with the IRS about them and all the shady work they do. The so called office and environment should be a very high indication. Along with other individuals I received a 2015 audit. The IRS was not helpful in explaining the audit, and would only send me to their billing department to set up a payment plan or pay in full. I decided to drop by A&S's office since I couldn't reach any via phone. Claudia took me without and appointment, explained the audit, fixed and re filed for me. I just received an audit for 2015. I heard from 8 other people that they're in the same boat. Can't get my calls returned to try to get help from them either. They make it seem like they do a thorough job and finding areas to get you a break, but they're putting in fake numbers to boost youre return without any way to back it up and without explaining what they're actually doing along the way. Don't let the big tax return fool you, this place is just not following the tax laws (and not telling you), and then conveniently doesn't return your calls when the audit(s) eventually happens. Remember the old saying, "If it's too good to be true, then it probably isn't"? Well, this is a shining example of that. You may get a big tax return a few weeks later, but that's how the IRS works....they pay you the return amount in the filing, and then the auditing team comes in and raises the red flags because of the blatant and intentional lies the A&S team made to get you excited when you hear how much your return is going to be. They are rated 0. DONT USE THEM! They don't return my numerous phone calls. They didn't include all our income. They made stuff up on our returns. This is in line with most other reviews. You have to wait a while, and the setting is a little unorthodox, but they will leave no stone unturned.

NO NOT USE... Got audited along with a large percentage of people I know who also use Claudia's services. The allure of a big rerun is just a sham... she is not following tax laws. Runs through the return quickly without asking your questions. So you don't even realize she is filling out portions. States she will "be there" if you are audited. I am an ethical tax preparer who follows the rules of the law. I have gone through many years of training in order to be able to stand tall and respect my work. Since the beginning of 2018 I have accidentally picked up at least 5 clients who have been audited by this "so called" firm. I am so appalled by the blatant stupidity used in their preparation of tax returns with bogus deductions on them. Taking employee business expenses that don't exist, deducting closing costs, deducting dry cleaning charges, and even going to the extent of saying someone has a loss on a business that doesn't exist. Shame on them. If you haven't been audited yet, just wait, because I just got another call this afternoon about a new client of mine going to the mailbox today and finding that 2015 audit letter from the IRS. Please, don't continue using these crooks. Find someone who knows what they are doing, someone with some knowledge of IRS rules & regulations. There are plenty of us out there. RUN the other direction! I used these folks and did not review all the entries in my return. They entered that I donated over $6,000 to charities and of course, given my income, this flagged an audit. So now I have an IRS bill of over $8000.00. They don't answer their phone nor do they have an email you can access. So..... STAY AWAY! I also found out this has happened to others who used them. I partly blame myself. I've worked with Claudia Storms of A & S Financial Services for a number of years and i would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for someone to prepare your taxes. She has improperly filed my taxes for the past two years (making some very basic mistakes) resulting in an audit from the IRS. When my problems began with the IRS Claudia was completely unavailable to assist me. She may be able to save you a little money on your tax bill but trust me it's not worth the risk. If you're a legitimate business person then find a legitimate CPA to prepare your taxes, don't make the mistake i did. read more
