They're a clean facility. You drive in, get out and pour your already sorted bottles In a can, aluminum I another can. They weigh them, hand u a tag. U take that tag to the office and get paid. They are not an auto parts supply, nor are they a junkyard. As for recycling it's glass and aluminum CRV, cardboard and appliances. I've never had a bad experience. One reviewee said they had brought more than 100 lbs of (?) And were told they'd only get paid $1.00 per (?). That is what I've heard, and that is by law. This is the best recycling center in town. I say this because it's the cleanest and safest environment. Above all, they have the best staff. They are always courteous and fast-working. It can get busy here with other disgruntled customers but the employees always work hard to make it a good experience for all customers. read more

I would give a negative star review if I could. They we beyond rude and racist. I had a Trump flag and they said they would not take my metal because I support trump one guy by the last name of Chavez was working in shorts and a tank top, Mr. Chavez stated to us " I'm not going to buy your metal." We were there for 15 minutes WAITING for a bin to put our metal in and they told us WE were taking to long. ?? I would not recommend this place AT ALL. Put your politics aside and DO YOUR f***ing JOB. I have already put a call in to corporate. We have dealt with this company multiple times at their other location in Madera and have never had an issue and have never been disrespected like we were at the Merced location. I really hope corporate does something about the disrespect their employees have for their customers. read more

I'M FUCKING FRUSTRATING AND FURIOUS WITH THE SERVICE ! Waited fucking an hour in line to get my cans and bottles recycled just to be told that all must be sorted before being helped. Why is there not a sign out front telling us before we waited in the line. Most places let us separate at the area when we get there but we weren't notified of this until we were next in line. It's very frustrating bc I have a long day ahead of me and I just wasted an hour of my time to be refused of service. NEVER COMING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! And let me tell u, we were not the only cars that left while waiting forever. Next time have a fucking sign before we come in or tell us while we are waiting on line so we can fucking sort them while being in a long ass line ! Assholes ! Too bad I can't put no stars read more

Horrible service along with rude employees, and horrible prices! I rather throw my junk away then sell to these A-holes!

This is the WORST Recycling center in the state of California. We showed up with a lot of cans and bottles. We unloaded about half of them before they said that if we had over 100 pounds we would only get $1 for everything. We told them that what we unloaded is all we planned on selling today and the rest of the bottles we were going to sell another day. The lazy workers down there decided they didn't want to deal with any of them and told us that we needed to just take all of them back home and bring less back another time. They had so much attitude and no drive to try and help the customer out. They didn't even help load them back up!!This place needs a new staff unless they plan on surviving off the tweakers that bring in 10 bottles at a time. read more
