I don't typically think about allergies because I know my kids don't have any but just the fact that she even asked if my daughter had any allergies, it was like an 'oh yea' moment for me and I appreciated her asking because the next parent may have a child with allergies. They work fast and efficiently to help with any questions and check out is always fast. We recently purchased our outdoor patio umbrellas when they were on sale with the base. They were more affordable then the Walmart ones we purchased and ended up returning those. Staff helped load the bases up in the car since they were heavy. Will continue to return when needing any item for home improvement.

I've lived in this neighborhood for over six years and have shopped at this Ace Hardware pretty…read morefrequently. Until today, every experience I've had here has been exceptional. The employees have always been friendly, accommodating, and quick to offer help, which is why today's visit stood out so much. When I came in, I was the second person in line. There was one customer at the register who needed some extra assistance, which I completely understand. What I didn't understand was why several employees were gathered around helping that one customer while the line was waiting. I politely asked one of the employees if someone could help those of us in line. The manager, Alicia, responded that she was th manager and she was helping the current customer and that she would help us when she was done. However, there appeared to be multiple employees at the front registers at the time. What bothered me most wasn't having to wait. It was the tone and demeanor of the response. She came across as very stern and unfriendly, and also seemed visibly irritated while assisting the customer in front of us. It was such a contrast from the warm, helpful service I've consistently received here over the years. I do want to note that the cashier, Hope (I believe that was her name), was very kind and even apologized to me, which I truly appreciated. She was not the issue at all. I'm hoping this was simply an off day because I've genuinely appreciated this store and its staff for a long time. I just felt this experience was worth mentioning because it was so different from what I've come to expect from this location.
