A&S has been great to work with and has offered a great experience each time we have worked with them! I work at the University of Cincinnati (main campus in Clifton) and host programs for students almost weekly, including our Welcome Week programs. We have worked with a variety of different vendors, but have primarily worked with two - A&S Party Rentals being one of them. I have been impressed with their communication, timeliness, and overall professionalism. The sales/initial coordinators are easy to work with and offer a consistent message in how they offer the sale of items. Then as we move into purchasing and paperwork, they have easily adapted to University policies and have worked with us fluidly and responsively. And then the delivery folks and set-up crews are always very professional, timely, and easy to coordinate with. They make sure that everything is set up to a professional standard and are quick to admit any issues or trouble shoot problems together. The owner Tammy is extremely rude and unprofessional! Me and my mother sign a contract for my wedding and paid the deposit and had almost everything arranged for my wedding. On both occasions I had spoken to her and met her she was nothing but nasty and had an attitude like she can't be bothered with us. After our visit today to make sure all of our stuff was correct for our order and double checking little final things we were in the show room with one the associates going over and finalizing the plans for the wedding. She stormed into the show room to let the person who was helping us know that her appointment was their. We let her know we had an appointment as well and she looked at us and said in a very snappy hostile tone that we didn't make an appointment online that day so we were basically out of luck. We finished with the associate and went back to her desk and get a finally print out for our order Tammy cornered me and my mother and continued to be nothing but nasty and hostile and pick a fight with myself and my mother. Honestly if you need a rental for party or a tent I strongly advise you taking your business else where this women Tammy is nasty and unprofessional and emailed us after we left letting us know she was voiding out contract with out our consent. She has destroyed my wedding plans ten days before my big day. I would strongly recommend Prime Time Rentals with Bart the only reason I didn't book with them is because they were completely sold out of rentals till two weeks after my wedding date. read more

This place has everything for a wedding. They have the prettiest linens, a clear type tent, very beautiful chiavari chairs, the most amazing centerpiece rentals, and so many cool accessories. Poor delivery service, driver doesn't know how to set up equipment, and doesn't communicate where he places machines. Was in a rush to go pick up his kids, even though he was working. Driver ask me to help him carry equipment in, since his partner didn't show up for work. Took multiple weeks to get refund on equipment that did not even work. Owner says he will look into the issues, but never calls you back. Stay Away!! read more

I have used this company twice in the past few years when my family came into town. The bounce houses they have are a great way to keep the children entertained while the adults enjoy themselves. The initial reservation process went very well (they do ask for a 50% deposit) and they directed me to a bounce house that worked very well. A&S allowed me to keep it a full day which is always nice. The only comment I have is that they were closer to the later half of the delivery time, which had me a little worried, but they set it up and had it running before the time I asked for, so everything was fine. Overall, I've enjoyed my experience with A&S Play Zone and will continue to use them in the coming years. read more

I contacted A&S Play Zone for a price quote on wedding rentals for our September outdoor wedding. An employee named Jessica assisted me & she was absolutely wonderful! I explained we were having an outdoor affair & where September was the least likely month to get rain I was still worried about the possibility. Jessica explained I could put a tent "on hold" paying for half the total & I would have 48 hours prior to the event decide. ALL of these conversations transpired over email. Two weeks before my event. I had a solid guest count & needed to add a few tables/chairs/linens & once again corresponded via email. I ended my email with stating that I would let them know on the tent closer in. I received a phone call from Amy - who was very confused about the tent. I explained what Jessica had done & I was told flat out that it was against company policy that I HAD to rent the tent & they don't hold tents until 48 hours before an event. I explained that I had all of the correspondences on email & could show that someone from their company arranged this. Amy went on to tell me that they had passed up business on that particular size tent due to it being rented to me & that I had cost the company money. A half hour or so later Amy called me back & said the owner would only allow me until Monday to make up my mind so as to not cost the company money. I asked to speak with the owner & was put through to Tammy. I explained the situation & Tammy went onto to also tell me that they had passed over others for this tent & that it would cost their company money. Also, went onto to tell me that even if it didn't rain would I really want my guests baking in the sun, exposed to wind regardless of rain & it would be best to just go with the tent. I hung up & called my MOH feeling horrible that I could potentially cost a company money as well as now having all of these "potential scenarios" running through my head - that was never my intention & only agree to putting the tent on hold because it was offered to me. My MOH suggested that I offer to split the difference if they want it rented so badly. I was adamantly against having a tent unless it was going to rain & they were running the risk of not renting the tent at all. So I sent an email to Amy asking that she forward to Tammy with that offer. I waited two days & when I still hadn't received a response. I sent Amy another email stating my concern with lack of response to my email sent two days prior as well as the tent that was on hold & once again asked her to forward my response to Tammy. Questions started pouring through my head I would reach out to A&S & state that in no way am I changing my current rentals but simply seeking information. I went from a bride with a solid game plan to one who was now second guessing everything due to Tammy's scenarios of sun, wind, rain, etc. Several emails & calls of Tammy changing the tent & sizing transpired with me continually saying - I don't want to change anything the final email was Tammy telling me to go with the other company & that she was cancelling ALL of my rentals. I picked up with phone & asked her what was going on - I was greeted with, "You're a bridezilla, you're completely psycho, another bride wants your tent & she's not a bridezilla so I'm going to rent it to her!" I told her she can't cancel on me 8 days before my event. She told me again that I was psycho & was trying to get them to rent me my stuff for free! I told her it had nothing to do with that & that we had plenty of money to pay 100% of our wedding! I begged & pleaded & was sobbing & nothing I said would get through to her. She finally said she'd make some calls & find a different company to deal with me. I hung up devastated & called my MOH - we began calling around but no one had anything available. Tammy called me back to let me know that she had "decided" that I must have been having an off day & would give me a 2nd chance. I thanked her & hung up. I had my mom took over 100% from that point forward. I went ahead & just paid for the larger tent to not be accused of trying to get away with anything. I emailed A&S the Thursday after my wedding to ensure all items had been returned in proper condition - no response. I sent a follow up email the next day - still no response. Over this past weekend I got a reply stating that yes, everything had been returned without any issues. So I will leave this review at this - what seemed like a wonderful company that had excellent customer service turned into a bride's worst nightmare the week before our event. To have the owner of company start planting doubts & concerns to refusing to help walk you through the thought process of tent size to calling you names & cancelling your contracts - let's just say it can be a bit much. This was my first experience with A&S and I can tell you that you have EARNED our future business! I will never deal with some of our longstanding vendors again after seeing the top-notch service and quality products A&S provides! The A&S crew members showed up to deliver our items on-time, as scheduled, and they were incredibly courteous, genuinely helpful, and even offered to assist with setting up an inflatable that I made the mistake of renting from another company! To my surprise, when the unit from the other company turned out to be rather dirty, the A&S employee graciously offered to clean the inflatable for us and also said he would make sure the the crew that was handling our pick-up would be prepared to help us tear-down the inflatable at the end of our event. horrible dealings with this company, my daughter rented thousands of dollars worth of items from these people, including a air brush tattoo dye, she had an horrible allergic reaction to the dye, called the company and MICHELLE whom she spoke did could of cared less, never asked how my daughter was doing , she took a picture of the ingredients for my daughter and sent them to her, that was the extent of it.
