I asked for a refund via text 3 times and was ignored. To launch a small claims case for a small amount is not practical especially since he can just ignore it and the burden is on the plaintiff to find a way to enforce payment even if the court sides with the plaintiff. As I said, a perfect scam. And yes I should have checked in advance for reviews. Lesson learned.

In previous years they sent an email with an invoice that required your approval before starting any work. This year they went ahead and said they changed their policy that the service is ongoing unless canceled. However the price went up almost 15% which was never agreed to. Needless to say not happy and the office person was less than helpful! That made my decision easier to move to another lawn care company!
