Canadian A&W's don't sell foot long hot dogs, or any hot dogs, for that matter. They have a great Papa burger that is better than the Americans make. Don't get me wrong, they're still messed-up over the hot dog thang. But, the seasonings, the caramelized onions and the fresh lettuce totally rocked this sandwich. Onion rings were bland and the fries, cold Another Canadian thang is poutine. I've never seen that in the U.S. Theirs is a solid version, fully loaded, but as another reviewer pointed out, the curds were cold. The staff were less than thrilled to see us. At first I thought it might be an anti-Alaskan thing, then I realized we're in Sk, not the Yukon. The hatred doesn't travel that far east. They have a nice dining area that was very clean. Stopped by on our road trip, and tried the Sausage Egger. As far as fast food breakfast sandwiches go, this one was really tasty. Regular burger bun, tasty sausage, real egg and cheese... Not greasy at all. Have to admit I was surprised - i didn't have high expectations, but I would have that again! read more

For starters, the building itself is freezing cold. They over buttered our toast (or should I say bread) as well as undercooked our bacon. My burger along with my fries were only luke warm, and with my mothers breakfast they gave her a sausage patty instead of a regular sausage (because they ran out) without even asking her.
