Brightly lit and packed, our friendly server found us a booth right a way and we poured over the menu. We each had a burger; I ordered the Signatures Burger with cheese with a Caesar Salad, and my hubby ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, him with the soup of the day (Pizza, which was interestingly delightful and robust). I have to say - the Caesar salad was delicious. I never asked our server if the dressing was house made, but it was flavourful no matter where it came from. What impressed me the most was the fact that the salad had bacon bits - never mind that I so rarely see that any more, the bacon was real, and there was plenty of it. If I were to stop the review at the soup and salad; this would be a five star review, but sadly - the burgers did not match the quality. My burger did not lack for pickles - I think there were five of the tasty little critters on there, but that was where my happiness wavered. Sadly, both our burgers were overdone, and in fact Mine was more crunchy than meaty, and it was dense, heavy even; with no spices (that I could taste). I was so disappointed after our delicious starters. We will continue to go back, because I truly feel this one incident does not a restaurant make.

We had reserved their "library" room, but at the last minute were bumped...by a charity. Our group came in waves even making things more difficult, but our server was definitely up to the task. The food was great and they even were able to serve up some dishes from their olden days that were no longer on the menu. I had two types of calamari, both were great, but the deep fried stuff is something you can get most anywhere - i recommend the grilled. It comes on a cast iron grill still sizzling and it is drenched with amazing olive flavor. I also had the Caesar salad with a blackened salmon on top. This is one of my go to combinations and they are rated way up there. I love a Caesar salad that almost burns your mouth with garlic (not so popular to people around me). I actually went back just a few weeks ago (twice) to have it again. All other meals had no complaints and as always, I begged for a few sample tastes off the other plates. They served the entire range of pasta, fish, chicken, salads and of course the other kind of Caesar that you drink. The place is also modern and beautiful inside and the bar is quite lively. Definitely no shortage on parking either. I can see this becoming my regular place to be whenever I get back to Sudbury.
