I drove my wife to the dentist who is across-the-board street from this place and I was looking a little Shaggy so while she was in her chair I was hoping to find an open one in this shop! I went in and there was noone around John came in right behind me and informed me they are appointment only, but he said he had time before his next appointment and I was greatly appreciative. We chatted and he told me the story behind the shop as he has been here quite some time and it was all very interesting. The shop has alot of character and John was very attentive to detail and efficient in his work and I was very pleased with my cut. Great staff, very professional. I called for an appointment was able to get in right away. Great old school type place. Thought I got a great haircut and beard trim. I didn't realize it's cash or check only, but I was told to just come back when I had cash, which I found like a really cool gesture. Excellent prices and a great experience overall. Visiting family and wanted a good quality fade and hot towel shave. They take walk ins and aren't super busy at all (although they should be if they were in a larger city). Be sure to ask for Edis.
